- Installed some 100mm universal fender flares off eBay on Project E46. Here are a few things I learned in the process, and a few tips and tricks to help you install flares on your car.

I am installing the FDF angle kit on my car and need to modify my fenders. This is helpful.
Probably a stupid question, but do the larger go at the front or at the back, I'm thinking small at the front large at the back?
depends what you're trying to do. I put the big ones on the front so I can use full steering angle.

How would you cut up your fenders if they go over a door panel?
I think ill use double edge tape and self tapping screws..

Why do you cut off your fender can’t you only put on the fender flare with the bolt?

Yeah I drive a 06 tsx I won’t need an angle grinder 😬 it’s gonna be a screw on type of thing
If you don't cut the fenders you don't gain any wheel clearance lol

well thats pretty good it gives a more agressive look to it
it wont get that much better than this unless you make a new wide fender for each side with fiberglass or plastic but since its a drift car it makes no sense since you can hit something plus the rubber completely wrecking the inside of the fender and stuff when the tire tears apart
SLR says the Ultra kit can hit 70 degrees at full lock. Have an event soon, will put it to the test.

BMW M Par fronts off an old 7 Series, and VMR wheels in the back.
