- We spend half the day moving everything out of the camper into a storage unit, and then head out to find a place to dispose of "Freedom" our camper. Heartbreaking, but we have to keep moving forward.

I shed a tear for Freedom. I was also holding my breath the entire time scott was fiddling with the cord aaaaahhhh! Another chapter finished so we all have to turn the page. Y’all have new stories to tell and i can’t wait for them. Also Scott with his samurai skills LOL 😂😂😂

The relationship that you both have with one another is so priceless. It's beautiful to see really. What y'all are dealing with is so incredibly stressful, yet step by step by step you both are doing it...together! Seeing the damage to the wheel wells...it's amazing that y'all stayed on the road. So grateful y'all are as strong as you are! This was really hard to see.

I know how much you love Freedom. As it was being crushed, I can imagine your feelings as I sat there with tears streaming down my face. The hard part is over. If I could repeat nomadic fanatic I would say the same thing. Traveling mercies to you all. I'm so glad you were not hurt more than you were and that you are healing. It's unfortunate that this is part of that healing. I'm teary-eyed sitting here I'm so sorry for you both but I'm so glad that it's just stuff. It could all be replaced. Brought back memories of my camper. A bad thunder storm took mine into the air and throwing it onto a wood pile. 2x4's punctured it like a pin cushion. At least I didn't have the pain of watching her crushed by a dozer, she was hauled away on a trailer. Hope you find something new that gives you as much joy as Freedom did.
That was so emotional, but glad you saved the best for last...Scott acting silly! LOL I hope the damage is minimal to the truck so you can get back out there soon and you find the perfect camper again.

That was so sad to watch, but she had a beautiful final resting place, with the beautiful mountains and blue skies. But just when I thought I would burst into tears you ended it on a hilarious note. That's why I love you guys! Only positive things in your future!

A very sad video, especially for you guys. Losing your home is hard, but watching it being crushed, Man that is really hard. I almost cried and I didn't work on fixing it. You guys will survive and grow stronger than ever, after watching your home being crushed, after being in that terrible accident. I am sure there are only good things coming to you both!!!! Keep up the high spirits and keep them videos coming.
It was scary how that entire thing just crumpled up like a piece of paper. Oh my!!!! And to think what could have been at 70 miles an hour is downright terrifying!!!!! There definitely were some guardians watching over you two. Stay safe out there! And loved the "swat team" member at the end!! lol
I have never commented before, but have to say better days are ahead of you. I recently lost my truck and camper due to a reckless driver. Hang in there.

Truly heartbreaking to see Freedom go away. So many happy times were had with her, I'm sure. I couldn't help but think this was all because that driver got distracted. I am so deeply sorry for this huge loss.
But, hopefully you will find a new home that will help heal your loss. Then Freedom will be restored. Does letting go help to embrace getting momentum built up for your next step? Hope so. May you start having some peace.

Terry and Scott..what an ordeal you have been going through since the hit and run 😱. Although I have a small vintage fibreglass trailer I enjoyed your walk throughs of the two possible replacement truck campers then went back to rewatch Ausia's video with you showing us Freedom. I agree you had a gem. Layout and storage were awesome but I feel strongly that there is a Freedom2 just down the road for you guys. Thanks for taking us along on this part of your difficult journey.
Scott & Terri that was just so sad! Our homes can be like living beings for us. How easily Freedom was mashed up into kindling was too frightening!

Thank you for being a RESPONSIBLE owner and not abandoning your camper by the side of the road somewhere. This speaks volumes for your character. It still had to hurt when you took it off though. I hope you are successful with your settlement(s). It always takes time for the lawyers and insurance companies to pay out. But in the mean time, it all comes out of YOUR pockets! Hope you both recuperate well.
John Mulhall : Exactly. I wish some of the Tesla and hybrid car owners thought about where their hybrid car batteries would end up. In a dump like this. I had a Honda Civic hybrid. The battery took up the entire back seat. It was HUGE!
Sharing the pain of your loss, BUT I'm also experiencing joy from watching a loving and faithful couple who continue following life's journey. The two of you truly show us how it really is out on the road. Keeping the two of you in my prayers.

Y’all are such an incredible inspiration to others. I had tears watching them crush freedom. Scott was scaring me to while he was cutting the pigtail off of freedom. I know how the ground vibrates at the landfill we took a few loads when we went from 3400 square feet to our travel trailer. We still have two storage units full of stuff. We need to go through and get rid of a lot more. I know y’all are going to be ok and everything will workout for y’all. Now it is time to start healing and rebuilding with a new camper.

It is amazing the road blocks that can pop up out of nowhere. Never would have thought that it would be so difficult to scrap the camper. Hoping your truck is found to be in good shape except for those dents in the wheel wells. Fingers crossed that you guys catch a break.
