"Now just keep in mind, that you should leave the Outlook application running while you are away" How do I do that if I'm not in the office and my computer isn't on?
This doesn't work in Office 365. Also, you'll get false positives with such a bad matching method for day of week in the header. For someone who is actually a professional, and not just experimenting with Outlook for fun - this method is utterly useless (and will almost definitely cause bigger problems for you).
That's what I thought originally but it actually does work - just tested it! The "message header" isn't the same as the subject line, it's the technical information (including the date & timestamp) that is connected to each email.
What if I want to send out of office or end of shift schedule every weekdays from 5-6pm?

Such a ridiculous process to accomplish something that should be standard and simple
What use does this have when i'm not working?? I need to have Outlook running for this to be usefull which costs too much useless energy.
This will only work if Outlook is running on your computer - too bad!

it only works if someone specifically uses the name of the day of the week in the topic of the e-mail, otherwise it's useless

@@shelliebean is there a way to do this for every OTHER Wednesday?
@@felixbenoso I don't know of any way to do that. Good luck!
@@shelliebean .. This is true it does work. I set it up and it was fine without the subject line/
%AppData%\Microsoft\Templates
not really relevant because not all senders put the word of the day in the subject 😐😐 who does that anyway?
Nobody does that! she said "subject" but she meant "Header" which always has the day of week. a comment above said it works.. so I'll try it
