    Should we keep the tension on the serratus anterior when going down on the pushup? Or does it only tense on the pushup plus position?

      It's active throughout the movement: working eccentrically (contracting while lengthening) when going down, and concentrically (contracting while shortening) on the way up.

    I am having pain since two days ..should I stop doing pushups or should I continue by correcting my motions and pain will go away on its own?

      Sometimes changing technique immediately stops the pain. If it doesn't immediately stop the pain, I would seek out advice from a healthcare provider in your area to find out what to do in your particular situation.
