The deciding factor here seems to be that Wolf's Gravestone looks a lot better.
ummm…you see…he isnt doing it with crit dmg hat (with crit rate substat). 90% crit rate is kinda overkill tbh. and he use EM hourglass WHICH WILL BENEFIT wolf gravestone because that claymore have so much attack already.

Dehya is one of the best characters because not only she helps you save primos by skipping her, but also gives new weapons to other characters that you would actually use

Yes! I'm glad someone pointed out that it's better to infuse Kazuha's Q in Hydro first (rather than Pyro) to allow Diluc to Vape and not keep hitting enemies who are already affected by Pyro.
Honestly, I think this weapon makes character building a lot easier. That crit rate really does make getting those nice looking crit ratio's a lot easier
So I did the math on the stats alone from when you first equipped both weapons and Bacon was about a 20% increase over Wolf’s Gravestone if you calculate effective/average damage dealt. Assuming you hit on average your crit rate number of crits out of 100 hits and miss the rest, the average of the damage dealt by all the hits together is ~20% higher
Beacon is definitely better than Wolves overall. Your ratio with beacon was so good, and it seemed way more comfortable to play, specially against bosses. I'd say it's an improvement, even if not a BIIIG one. Would also say a Atk% sands might be better with beacon, but id have to calc that to be sure, definitely worth testing out

Since both are generalist weapons i think it's more of a side grade than anything. I find beacon to be a little more consistent though and the crit stat is nice to round your stats. You can literally put it on any claymore user and it'll be good. WGS passive buffs your team though.

so cool thing about Fischl's burst, you can switch out to another character during the animation so she doesn't go anywhere and isn't vulnerable. Can't believe it took me so long to figure that out.

Look at things this way, Diluc gets crit rate as ascension passive and this weapon gives 33.1% crit rate. This means you can get away with building a lot more crit damage now, especially your helmet which was likely to be crit rate main stat before. Also make sure to use attack percent sands instead of EM. It is definitely an upgrade from WGS because of these reasons although it’s honestly not worth wasting pity on imo.
The sad part is that Diluc's c2 works while shielded, but the the Beacon's passive doesn't.
They're even worded similarly, making it even more confusing.

You completely forgot to swirl Pyro with Kazuha after you infused his burst with Hydro. That could have been easy over 100k

One of the important things to look at is if you get Bacon you can now put on a Crit Damage circlet instead of a CR. So for me personally it increased my DPS but a ton due to now 60% higher CD. Also, the fact I had no 5* claymores helps my Eula a ton :P

I pulled for that weapon just because my luck on crimson witch was atrocious. My best build was 64/126, that's how bad my luck on that set is. I have better luck with other sets, really. With Beacon i was able to get 77/180 which is much better. And that's how i was able to see the improvement, but if you already have similar stats with WGS you won't feel any difference between these weapons. So think twice before you pull.

The moment the strongbox was introduced i went there to improve my characters, especially Diluc, because he's my first 5* (i'm an ar60 player, i started playing in december 2020), and no matter what even when i try get artifacts from the strongbox i get the most horrible ones. And even if i get a really good one, chances of it to roll at least okeyish is really low. I don't why but it's only with this set. Maybe i'm cursed i don't know. I don't have that problem with other sets. Like i did Thundering Fury today and got godly EM sands with 13 crit rate, and 14 crit dmg, and a bit of ER (it was a 3 line piece) for my Keqing, i even have several good electro dmg goblets from that set, but what of crimson witch? Nah~ take 5 EM sands but all with def% flat def maybe some atk% if lucky and that one crit stat that won't proc anyway, that's how crimson witch is usually for me. For the last 2 years that is.. Eh... (oh yeah, i guess i am kinda lucky with crimson witch because it gives me EM, and nothing but EM, if i roll an artifact it all goes to EM, that's why my Diluc is rocking atk sands, because he has 200 em just from the substats, ahaha. Like seriously, when i got Beacon i went to get crit dmg circlet, was lucky to get one with the crit rate in it, but it also had EM, so..... It all went to EM, like 64 EM (my atk sands have 82 em btw), at this point i don't know if this luck or a curse)

But TF must be easy to farm, got 40% cv on feather and 30% em sands for Cyno.. but no goblet lol. Still, better passively farming through that than domain, lava walker is very niche' thundershooter also, but with dendro now, it can become more valuable.
Got Beacon today, it better be a good improvement from wgs/SS to cover my wounds for not getting the Staff 🥲

Beacon is a good weapon, though i didn't tested it in current abyss yet, but i tested it on different bosses and domains and the highest number i saw on my Diluc was 164k ult (melt), 153k ult (vape), 75-95k normal attack finisher (vape and melt) and 45-60k e skill (vape and melt as well). I tested it on lvl90 Raiden, RockFrog, and in mond talent domain (coop mode). For me it was an improvement, but if your stats are similar to the wgs, then the outcome will mostly be the same. For example with wgs my highest numbers were: 90-134k ult dmg (vape and melt), 35-45k e skill (mostly vape, i don't remember melt dmg), and normal atk was around 25-55k vape. But my stats were bad, that's why the dmg is so different. Both weapons are almost the same in performance. (one more thing, wgs gives a lot of atk regardless, beacon on the other hand if you forget to proc its passives your dmg can become really low, like 9-13k non crit or even lower, i dunno why, but with Beacon i see all non crits more clearly than when it was with wgs)
I think he underestimated the Damage Per Second gain from the crit rate, sure Damage per Screenshot is compareable overall, but Damage per second has gone up

Agreed. However the algorithm gods is not in his favor. Being said, if he's bored with Genshin but has to stick to it. Then he could think of innovative ways to exploit Genshin's IP without getting bored to death. He could hosts Genshin Tournaments for fun or whatever. Or do something similar.
My Eula has never had a non crit burst ever since I got the claymore. Sitting at a pretty sweet chonker spot of 91/203 for cr/cd.
It's awesome for Eula but aesthetically looks terrible, I think only SOBP and Skyward pride look cool on her as 5 star weapons and actually synergize well with her

@@johnd7760 No point in using a crit rate circlet when RNGesus doesn't give you one with tons of crit dmg for sub stat to compensate. Besides my ratio with a crit dmg circlet was decent enough at 64/195 (would prefer at least 70 crit rate). I only have 2 crit rate circlets that have 28 crit dmg on em, one for crimson witch and one for shimenawa.

I gave Heizou the Lost Prayer when he first came out and with the right team his skill hits over 100k in the Abyss, so it's definitely not bad as some other characters

I would suggest infusing Kazuha's burst with hydro not pyro then you use Bennett ult and E then use Kazuha's E to swirl pyro. It gives the most damage for what you're doing in a Diluc team. You can even switch to a melt team with Kaeya.
Also, Beacon IS the best weapon for Diluc right now, above Redhorne and WGS. WGS is his 3rd best now.
I doubt it's better than serpent spine, which has always been his best in slot
@@weeb69 As much of a broken weapon SS is, it limits team comps to require a shield otherwise the stacks are hard to keep up. In this case BoRS is the reverse SS, I have both weapons at R5 and if you already have R5 SS i wouldn't recommend BoRS unless you have it around or above R3.
@@weeb69 WGS was always better, SS just out DPSes it at later refinements, at around R3 I think. Also Redhorne is better than that, so Beacon is his BiS right now.

@@weeb69 It isn't fair to assume R5 SS. Not everyone gets the BP, but a lot of people get Welkins and F2P players still can get Beacon. I have R2 SS and I've been playing for more than 2 years now, but I could get Beacon if I wanted to. I also have 9 5 star weapons.
attack is underrated in genshin. I build my EM dolls with EM main stat and substatus atk% and atkflat. this is the way to build EM + Atk% + ER + atkflat dolls. i feel difference. I loved the video :)

Heizou and nahida are by far the least clubky catalyst users. A bennett anemo team is a lot of fun, sucrose, kazuha dps, heizou burst dps. You swap to him, press q then e then immediately swap back to kazuha for pyro NA’s
The crit rate and passive is better then wolf's gravestone purely because your getting crit rate and the 40% atk from the passive that you'd immediately have from gravestone being it's sub stat so it's a Diluc upgrade but it's not a insane claymore that everyone kinda hoped for

I got Deyha's Claymore by accident but I'm not upset since I got it 10 pulls after getting staff of homa at 63 pity. At least I can use it on my Diluc or on Deyha when I get her from a loss 50/50 in the future.
Honestly, I've been using WGS on Dehya and it's kinda great since her 4s burst can normally get stronger enemies into range to proc WGS making it so that when Dehya's downtime starts your next character gets an atk boost to finish the enemy off. I also don't have Kazuha so I planned on using Dehya with Archaic Petra Zhongli from the beginning so rolling for her sword wouldn't make sense. I am considering switching to Archaic Petra Ningguang though since c6 Ning would be a good secondary dps (though that means no Zhongli resistance shred), but I can't get a good Archaic Petra set for her anyway.

dont just stack up on crit with bacon. I had to adjust some of my artifacts to make the most out of it.
I got super lucky and pulled this weapon. Put it on my diluc, the dmg per hit increased (cuz I had just about the same atk full passive, little more em, bit more cd cuz now i could equip higher cd artifact). Consistency also increased, I now barely ever miss a crit, which makes average dmg go up a lot. Personally, I think it looks cool, it was worth it imo.
I'll have to run the numbers on the calculator, but in this case, it might actually be better to run an atk% circlet instead. However, without even looking yet, I already know that it'll have to roll crit damage in the subs for it to overtake a pure crit damage circlet. It's the crit damage value that's gonna be required is what'll matter most.
Difference should be negligible. In scenarios like Aqua Ganyu or similar situations, u barely see the difference.. and my att hat had 34% smth att.
You didnt waste your Pity on the Claymore, but you definitely wasted your Pity if you were getting the Claymore just for Diluc.
Trust I got the claymore as well and gettin his crit damage to well above 250 does wonders for him. 65 to like 75 crit rate is a great place to stop, and his ascension paired with the claymore is already like 57cr. Man's hitting skill hits and normal vapes for 70k+
I got the new claymore and cyno in 40 pulls total (won 50/50 on both) so I'm not complaining.

Have you tried using an ATK% Sands It might give you more dmg since the new weapon doesn't give ATK% it would make sense to replace the Elemental% Sands with ATK%
Pity doesn't work like that on weapons. If you have a guaranteed and you don't use it for that banner, you're doomed. It'll reset and you'll start from 0 on the next banner. This is why never wish on weapon banner, it's a complete scam.
Also, big mistake not switching to atk% sands as soon as your atk plummeted to 1,5k. Obviously Diluc will suck with such low atk even with 90-190 CV.
I got pretty lucky on the banner. At first I was only going to do one try because it would be cool to have. Got the jade spear and I said F. It I'm all in on this and got an early pity in just two ten pulls. It was the claymore. I have the WGS but that on my account specifically belongs to Eula. Other characters simply borrows it and have to give it back. Yeah it was on Par with WGS in how much damage I was doing but going forward the crit rate does help future claymore character builds too. Though they might have to clean the dirt off of it because Dehya keeps throwing it down on the ground to punch enemies instead. Granted I mostly like that it has that crit rate stat which makes doing builds easier. I'm happy with it. Not to knock the WGS because it is a very solid weapon.

I am actually liking the performance of this weapon on Diluc. Should I get it? I lost the weapon banner 50 50 on yelan and Hutao, so I can get one of the 2 current weapons. I have no 5 star Spear, but I have wolf's gravestone.
I don’t think weapon banner pity transfers over from banner to banner because the epitomized path resets. So your next 5 star still could be off-banner :/ good luck if you do decide to pull

What weapon do you currently have on Diluc? Unless you already have 5 stars with refinement on it or you have R3> SS I wouldn't recommend pulling on it. But it really is way better for an average player than WGS because of the high crit value and good ATK. Worst case you end up with Cyno's spear which is really good for a lot of characters like: ( hu tao, rev melt rosaria BIS, Xiangling BIS,) the passive is really easy to stack and the juicy 88 CV to top it off.

I just got cyno's polearm yesterday. I was kinda hoping to get the beacon for diluc as well, but getting cyno's weapon got me enough starglitter to get blackcliff slasher. Using it on diluc now :)

On usual setting yes but Diluc's ascension stat is crit rate so most players prefer crit damage hat if you manage 60+ crit rate.

Haven't really followed Mtashed's Genshin content for quite some time. I know at one point he went on a tangent about not dropping anymore money on the game. But seeing all these characters maxed through the roof & getting pity summons makes me think he recanted on that? Is that accurate?

I have a question guys. If I choose a weapon in the weapon banner, and get the other weapon 2 times the third time is guaranteed, but what if I wait till the next banner and pull again will I get then the new chosen weapon. Like I pull on this banner and chose the staff but I got the claymore two times and now my fate points is 2/2, but I want to pull on the mistsplitter banner and chose it when it comes will I get it guaranteed even though the fate points has reseted. Pls help
honestly bacon is much more consistant with its dps and if you have decent crit damage its probs the better choice by a lot especially if it lets you replace a cr hat for a cd one.
but wolfs gravestone just looks and feels better lol, and if ur artifacts are shit its much more forgiving.
I think wolfgravestone is better in the longrun since since you gonna get more refinements when you lose 50/50 and make it stronger way easier

Bacon is only slightly better than WGS, Bacon > WGS > Mailed, there's only like 5% more or less difference from each other.
EDIT: to clarify, Beacon and Mailed Flower technically have higher DPS on Diluc with Beacon having superior DPS but WGS's Team passive shortens the gap between Beacon and WGS, while WGS overtakes Mailed Flower when WGS's team passive is taken into account.
so if just going by Diluc's personal damage (tested on Diluc x Xingqiu) it would be:
Beacon > Mailed > WGS
but if going by a more practical comparison (e.i. clearing the Abyss with a 4 character team) it would be:
Beacon > WGS > Mailed
my Diluc stats in the test
(Beacon) ATK 1833, EM 201, Crit 79/190 (ATK Sands)
(WGS) ATK 2035, EM 226, Crit 76/183 (EM Sands)
(Mailed) ATK 1808, EM 187, Crit 72/189 (ATK Sands)
(after Mailed effect) ATK 2290, EM 283
Also his artifacts was designed around the WGS, with higher crit rate and lower atk%, like 40CV extra just on c-rate

Definitely need to fix your crit ratio now that you have so much CR with that weapon. Can easily push well into the 220s+ with CD while maintaining 72+ CR. Its much better than WGS.
Banners almost gone and still debating if it's worth pulling for. I have r3 Wgs but i would really like this for my diluc but i don't use him as much as I used to and the passive on Wgs is shared with team....adn then there's the Drip .
But also we don't have a lot of really good five-star Claymores and this might be a good opportunity to grab it now for different characters
Mostly the last part was my thought, if i lost to it, which i did. even if a future char won't like att much, that crate sub would definitely be useful.
Write it down now, hydro archon is a claymore user and will benifit from this hp passive, but I am sad bizhu will give shield
Idk why the claymores are so bad, like they’re usually slower characters so they hit as much, but sword users have swords with higher crit rate with more opportunities to crit, seems very back wards even the spear has a higher rate in comparison, they should flip them imo
I did a ton of testing with Diluc with Beacon R5 vs WGS R1 and believe it or not, WGS is just better on Diluc. The atk decrease makes a big difference and somehow the vaporizes through multiple tests were more consistent on WGS than Beacon, no idea how but it was. WGS is just overall more his thing stat over stat. Now if they just rerun WGS considering it’s been TWO YEARS since a banner run…that would be great so I can R5.

@@prestige934 dude seriously, we couldn't believe it either. Friend and I sat around the Inazuma warrior testing all sorts of kits back and forth and WGS was just more consistent dmg wise. Crit rate or not, that dmg boost on atk makes a huge impact. Too often even at 83% crit rate, WGS was hitting harder overall without changing artifacts. We were befuddled but that was what we witnessed. His atk dipped from 2674 all the way down to 2008...it really made a difference even when you calc all the crits.
@@runimcomingforyou.4505 well WGS even at R1 compared to Beacon R5 still gives about 30% (almost) more atk. WGS base and main stat is just so significant. His atk without changing artifacts WGS to Beacon went from 2674 to 2008!
@@ZestyMozzarella My friend, you need to put down more information than that. Like what stats you had with each weapon, you may have to juggle artifacts etc. Claymore users are slow so they benefit more from Crits so that has also has to be taken into account. Also don't forget you also need to get hit to get that atk buff, mentioning that just in case you forgot.
bacon is still not a perfect match for diluc but its the best one so far
if the Mailed Flower or Rainslasher were 5*, they'd be perfect for Diluc
Idk my guy but cdmg weps is always the go to for pulls. 50 60 CR gets you enough crits on abyss runs with abyss cards. I can see the dmg improvement is not big with boris. This is not a good pull weapon wise

stat stick weapon does not stimuli old players any more, untill mhy release a weapon that have a chance to do stuff like summon wind blade like sky ward weap, can heal buff or summon stuff i am not summoning on any weap banner XD
The problem is that you have a em sands maybe but still pretty good

Bacon: Atk sands
I think that because the distrubution of stats, if u use atk sands with WG, the damage u can do to enemies is lower than EM sands because u have too much atk in the first option
In bacon case, the weapon give u critical rate soooo, u need atk insteand EM
With bennet Em sand is better for both weapons. If you have two of the below buffs you can go for atk sand

also don't worry if you get a 5 star, the next banner with Mistplitter and Calamity Queller is just as good.

Fate points reset when the banner changes.
I gave the event claymore to Diluc and it hits hard no need to 5* weapon
