my favorite death ive gotten in genshin has to be while doing ella musk's commission, as she's talking to the hilichurl somehow the bad end triggered and they started attacking lumine as ella casually chatted up that one hilichurl. girly was out there getting mauled to death while ella was like mimi dada valo!
I actually killed all the hilichurls before she cold talk to them but they respawned

I remember being in a cutscene once and this hillichurl somehow kept shooting me until my Aether just fell over and died lol.

A couple other fun ones: Being struck by lightning and falling off a cliff
Being stuck in dialogue while an enemy shoots you
Being one-shot by the oceanid because you took too long to defeat its summons, I think there's like a 5 minute timer for each wave or something

funny story, during the aranara story line, I got killed by slimes DURING A CUTSCENE. Paimon and the aranara just stood there while I got bonked by slimes and DIED and they just CARRIED ON

should've did a death where u just revive kuki and use her elemtal skill in water, thinking she's gonna heal herself, only to be killed by electro charged.
The dumbest/funniest ways I've died in this game were:
-Heizou getting repeatedly hit and stunned by a bunch of enemies, until they knocked him off a high cliff and he died.
-Making a dumb decision of fighting some cryo slimes in the rain. I thought playing as Diluc and setting them on fire would help but nope, the slimes took turns freezing Diluc until finally he died.
A random fun fact: Geo travel can kill you. In a constellation, it can give knock back damage when you use the e. I think.
After death by paimon I got an email from paimon. The murderer is out for vengeance. Also I joined the stream and it was both hilarious and fun 😄

I die at Paimon's hands at least once per month. Mostly I just don't look at the mini map and don't realise I'm on the edge on the map. 🤣 Thanks for the great video!!

I don't think it's in the video but there's a cannon in the chasm that CAN kill you. I would know, I accidentally killed an Itto trying to shoot it.

So you can't hit people with the electrogranum cannons.. but you CAN with the giant ruin golem in the desert
That's very strange, because I distinctly remember someone doing tests on which character's shield can withstand the most shots from cannons. By the end, all the tested characters died!
Somewhere between the first and second death, my music playlist rolled over without me noticing and Xiao's trailer theme rolled in, and no lie, it fit the video pretty perfectly
Also, while the agent death is valid, I still think dying to the fatui agent's burst would have a bit more... Panache.

i was playing with somebody in the chasm to accompany me while i did the quest, and so we got at the canon part where we had to shoot at a wall, and they were standing in front of the wall i was supposed to shoot at, and i accidentally hit them and they died

There’s one that is quite funny: Die during dialog on Inazuma (a good place it’s at the resistance camp because of the excessive thunder)
You did Death by Whale, but seem to have forgotten Death by Whaling (as part of some people's summoning rituals, they 'sacrifice' one character to try to summon the desired 5-star).
There's a glitch where if you teleport to one of the high Statues of Morax, I think in the Guyun Stone Forest, it'll sometimes phase you through the ground, and then you will die of fall damage unless you can use a plunge attack, wings, or teleport away in time. I've also been thrown into a sliding fall that was long enough to lose _three_ of my characters all in one go.
It should also be considered a unique death to get knocked out of the air by an attack and die from the fall damage from that. You could get two from this: One for just normal gliding, and one for while you're using Wanderer's skill.

fun fact, even though the inazuma cannons cant kill you, the chasm one can - assuming it hasnt been patched out. a couple months ago i was exploring with a friend and we discovered if one person stands on the beam above the tunnel, the other person can aim the cannon directly at them and itll do damage. we spent probably the better part of 20 minutes just messing around with it and killing each other over and over
I found the Paimon one by accident one day. I was so pissed off that Paimon did that. Another one I found was that I had lightning strike me and knock me off the cliff, killing my Zhongli. Kind of got a kick out of that one. Though that's a two for one.
didnt know if you knew but another fun way you can die is by the canon in the chasm. me and my friend were messing around with it and it killed me from full hp and im level 90🧍🏻♀️

If anyone wants to try it, go to the Island with the Nobushi at the top of Inazuma, get rid of the Nobushi so they don't interrupt you and then go to where the two boats with hay bails in them are. Make sure to have a Pyro and Electro character (I use Raiden and Bennett) and stand on the back of one of the boats facing the hay bail. Use Raiden's skill or another electro attack and then Bennett's skill right after. It will overload you but also the hay bails explode a little and the water underneath vaporizes and electro charges you, so you fly backwards in a weird way. You can do this without dying too if you HP is not too low which actually can make it funnier).
This is probably old news by this point, but I am fairly new to this game so I'll say it anyways. While falling from any height, even after running out of stamina while gliding, you can do a plunge attack to save yourself. The distance window is fairly generous and this saved me so many times xD

4:11 that’s burning AoE - when you’re applying dendo to the stove or torches, damge dealt by burning is being calculated from your EM.
That was my Nahida. I think she has around 650 EM so that definitely killed her pretty quickly.
On the last day of 2.5 I decided to log out while standing on a cliff at the edge of the map where the chasm is, so I could immediately see the changes when logging in the next day
For some reason when I did log in on 2.6, I immediately got knocked back and fell off the cliff

I had this one funny death where my Lumine has Kuki's E when I entered Vanarana quest, and the ground is wet (I believe it's nearby the tree of dreams), and I cannot move because suddenly there's dialog going on, and so Lumine gets electrocuted every 2 seconds or so while having this autoplay conversation until she died.
She looked stupid the whole conversation, getting pulses, snapping her head every two seconds while the gnomes are talking lol if only I recorded it.

Alright! In the runner-ups, we have Amber in fifth place with 6 deaths! In fourth, we have a three-way tie between Gorou, Scaramouche, and Bennett (surprisingly) at 7 deaths! Third is another tie between the Raiden Shogun and Kaeya, with 8 deaths to count. Second goes to our favorite emo pogostick man, Xiao, with 9 deaths! But, our first place winner goes to our lovely, sassy, fox boy Tighnari, with a whopping 22 deaths!
