They should have never nerfed the TOW2B so much. That thing shreds in real life. Balance is good and all, but man, they underestimate the 2B so much.
They’re great for light tanks and ironically NATO tanks, but K1 absorbs them even though they are KEP…
It's not that they are underestimate it's just the tow2b is model wrong in game
its not nerfed. Its how it should be modeled. The 2B in game is able to almost always a couple crew members and disable the breach. In real life that would be a kill since the tank is useless. In game it can repair in 30seconds.
@@bluedemon9985 the thing is not even close to it's real life counter part it's modeled as a single chemical warhead in game where in real life it's a dual kinetic warhead. That is also more than likely missing anywhere from 50-80mm of penatration

Hit an Object 120 with a 2B the other day, only took out his engine, didn’t even overpressure. Definitely not modeled right at all

Yeah and as I am looking at the tech tree right now there is not a good lineup in which you can bring the m3a3 without pairing it up with 0.6 higher or 0.6 lower br tanks so no good f2p lineup anymore. You can only pair it with all the premiums but m3a3 for f2p people has to be uptiered to play it with other tanks. Also, every nation has light tanks around 9.0 besides usa now, which sucks bc scouting can be very op. Now you are almost always uptiered by 1.6 br at which point your mobility doesn't do jack shit and you are just a camping light tank because you cant even fire the missiles on the move. I never thought the Bradley was that op when they nerfed the tow2B missiles because you actually had to play it well to get 3/4 missiles off for 1 kill on a Russian tank which gives the enemy some time to react.
With the BR changes, I wish I knew why they didn't move the TURMS and the 2S38 to 10.3 as well. Oh... I know why...
Honestly, the TURMS can be frontally shredded at range with a single burst from a Gepard. You can single tap 2S38s with Begleitpanzer SAP. They only way either one is really OP is if they get the drop on you. At 9.7 that was too easy because they have thermals and a lot of stuff at 8.7-9.3 doesn't. At 10.0 that advantage really goes away
@@rodericklenz5030 the issue is they ruin 9.0 as they get downtiered constantly and both of them would do fine at 10.3.
@@GeoDracu the turms can be one shot through the UFP by 8.3 tanks lol its the worst russian tank IMO per BR . It has firepower and optics , personally i need 2 of 3 things for a good ground vehicle either armour and firepower or speed and firepowers . Optics are great and are a great addition to any vehicle but not at the cost of one of the 3 key things i already stated .The turms should be at 9.3 maybe 9.7 but it sure dont make my 10 lineup i would rather have the t64B, t72B ,t72b 1989 , bmp 2 m , bmp 3 , 2s38 ,2s25 , 2s25m lol when a Premium cant even make its own br lineup let alone .3br below it , its not even worth 5 dollars lets alone 70, the ONLY time i even think its viable is on a Long range map at night
@@user-nt4bw2tm7b So can other vehicles at 10.3 but the Turms has ERA and trolly armor. Its got a better gun, round, thermals and armor then most 10.3 tanks. Its speed is also good. The only bad things about it is its reverse speed and gun depression. No reason why it should not be 10.3.
the problem with Bradley is the TOW missile pod takes time to arm unlike Weisel. that being sayed i wish gaijin adds Humvee TOW to the game at 9.3 or 9.0 alomg with other Humvee varient like Humvee 25 and Avenger.
In my opinion the br change wasn't that necessary since tandem warhead atgms sometimes won't even do anything to normal armor let alone era but it definitely won't make the Chadley worse. It's typical of Gaijin though a tank will get this but it will come at a price usually, there always have to be a compromise even when not needed.
That and the most op missile carrier has only just recently moved up a br. silly to thing the Chadley and the bmp-2M are on the same level.
It's typical when it comes to nato vehicles, for russian vehicles not so much. Take bmp-2m, it got br raise but in return it got so much better it is again op on that br.
since you tried the m3a3..why dont u give the type89 another try? it has changed a lot after the double-nerf last year...or even the type97 rcv :D
Dude, I gunned one in desert storm 1991. It's an awesome vehicle. Our tow missles were bad, and a lot of guys were experiencing them hitting the ground at its arming range and summer saulting to detonation. The 25 is accurate as hell.

If they un-nerfed the 2B the Chadley could be at 10.0 and still slay I remember taking it with me to top top tier back before it was nerfed and just nuking Russian tanks

Quite annoying how much they nerfed the tow2bs. They are so much fun and made NATO ifvs more of a threat compared to the blatantly op bmp2m
Been using the TOW2Bs for a while now, they're definitely fun, but I just wish they weren't complete shit.
Excited to give the TOW2As a shot, hoping that they actually perform.
I love the bradley's... I got my first nuke in the M3 bradley (even dropped it too), so it's nice to see the m3a3 get some love

It can definitely be mitigated by playstyle and experience but using these IFVs and light tanks with auto cannons (especially ones with slow rpm) that are easily one shot is kind of a struggle if you're used to being aggressive with tanks with regular cannons.
The m3a3 and bmp2m going in the same br is dumb, the bmp2m has more pen and can fire on the move while the bradley needs to stop to deploy the launcher. Definitely balance
bmp2m also has better thermals and faster
I just unlocked this bradley and I'm working on getting tow 2B modification... I did not know I could use the commander optics to be in a turret down position and use the missiles lol 😂 that changes everything. I do that with the type 10 I should have thought about that SMH
Skip the Tow 2B and just use the 2A
That's what makes the Bradley enjoyable to play. Helps negate the pain of how horrible the auto cannon is

Hey justin, with all due respect, at 16:14 you shot your tow-2b more or less at the same point on that T-72B. Little more to the left (from your point of view) and you would have had the kill. Still frustrating to use TOW-2B's as they barely do any damage, but once you're used to them their effectiveness increases quite a bit (speaking out of experience with the CV9040 BILL).
Imo, its fine at 9.7 and would be still ok even at 10.0. Yeah the 2B's don't guarantee kills, but they bring such good utility to the vehicle. Nicest kill with 2B's was a 1km one tap on a mark from an ally over a hill where I didn't have LOS and only guided the missile from the mark. you can only do that with the B's

Don't hold your breath on that one, im fairly certain that gaijin has completely forgotten about British IFVs.
used it in my 10.0 lineup and its completly fine there.

I had been asking for the TOW2A ever since the 2B got nerfed to hell. It was the only thing the A3 had over the base bradley, and it just wasn't good once the missile was nerfed. The A3 should still be 9.3 IMO as the BMP and Dardo are the same BR but are much better within warthunder

i feel that though the addition of the tandem charge does not warrant the br increase as it still is far weaker than contemporaries such as the bmp-2m, the folding launcher just adds to how annoying this thing is to play
If they wanted to move the m3a3 Bradley up they could just correctly model the tow 2b but that might throw down the Russian winrate by 2% so they'll never be made competitive

Can you take out the type 89, it may be not as good as the other IFVs but I still spank people with it at 8.3

I hate the TOW-2B’s, they’re absolutely broken in open/hilly maps but will almost never take less than 4-5 hits to destroy a t-72 (and I’ve have plenty of cases where their ammo was destroyed but didn’t go off).
Thanks to the Wiesel 1A2 I absolutely live the TOW-2A’s, and I never understood why the M3A3 didn’t have them. It can finally reliably one tap tanks and fight in really close quarters
I genuinely don't know how you do it. Every time now I've tried taking out the Chadley trying to use it for grinding purposes (talismanned it) I just keep getting killed immediately because NOBODY covers the flank

I was in a game on maginot line and started out with the Bradley because of the top down missiles and like usual I went to a hill and saw an strf emerge on a hill across from me so I throw a tow-2b at him and he sees it but I hit him before he gets away about four feet above his turret and it hits his radiator and damages a crew mate That’s it then he promptly returns fire with a BILL seeing this and having much more time to react I back down the hill and his missile hits about ten feet above my turret and destroys everything every crew mate and turret component I had with overpressure killing me and that’s when I knew the Bradley was done being competitive
all light vehicles should be up-teired.. there not supposed to be as good as their MBT counterparts.. thats why they get scouting / cost less spawn points. its a support vehicle.

2B can be really bad but sometimes really good. I got killed by Tow 2B twice in a game in T80B because gaijin decide to overpressured me, even the 2B explode like 50m beside me, not even on top of me

5:33 all it takes regardless of the games br is a cap in a reserve vehicle and you can spawn a fully loaded heli (most noticeably bt-5 -> ka52/mig27k)

The Abrams doesn’t deserve to be at 10.3 and it messed up the American 10.0 line. How is the challenger ds/mk2 at 10 with a 120 and better penning ammo and better armor but the Abrams is at 10.3 with the likes of the Leo2?
Faster reload, better mobility. M1 at 10.3 is still a very good tank.
As a hated Russia main I can say this buff was good for the competition of the BMP
But bmp2m still have faster firing cannon , lul pen atgm , better mobility and fire on move for atgm. Only thing it worse than chadley is armor.

My biggest issue with TOW-2B is that the trigger ignores planes, helicopters and drones. Which makes no sense.

It's been more than 2 years since this boi was released back during Ixwa Strike. It went from being a bit broken to being very meh and now it gets what we've been asking for after a year or so of the TOW-2Bs being nerfed to shit.
To put things in perspective, it took Gaijin *THIS LONG* to finally give the US a ground vehicle with tandems while Russia and then Germany has had them for a while.
"ERA is really efficient strangely enough" - YT CC speak for ERA values in the game are broken as hell and Gaijin refuses to address it.
EDIT: Also seeing a Bradley pop a T-72B with a TOW just activates some neurons...

Thoughts on warrior
It's too high BR for XM1 near useless re-spawn after a 10.7 Abrams tank. No point to give it a crew slot anymore.
Since the br changes, top tier US is a lot less fun now, but not terrible at least
10.7 stuff like the m1a1 and the m1ip gets downtiered a lot, if you’re not having fun play stuff like that

I have like 4000$ into this game and 6000 hours i have stopped playing for like 6 months its sad. The br issues the stuttering from the game its just sad man.
Why can Bradleys and Pumas have full apfsds load but bmp2s and chinese terminator cant? All carry mixed ap he load irl.
You're wrong, the QN506 and BMP2M both get full APFSDS belts. The regular BMP2 doesn't but its at 8.3 so its understandable

The tow-2b is kinda good against nato tanks but not so good against russian tank. For some reason the era just eats all of the dmg (russian bias)

just wondering if anyone else has noticed this but when im in gun sight shooting at someone and they fire, the round would always seem to hit my vehicle above my view, but if im killed by a round it would often be through my hull even though the round looked like it impacted high on turret, im curious if this is just always the case or is the camera much further down than should be which in turn would make me show more of my vehicle than i want.
A point to bear in mind is that all the soft terrain in the map has a layer you can shoot through, so if you're cresting a rise on snow, sand or dirt, there's a layer on top of that rise that people can shoot right through. It's about as deep as the track impressions are. So good players are going to aim to put a shot through that layer into your hull if they need to.

Why doesn't he keep the TOW launcher deployed all the time?
It automatically stowes away when you go faster than 15kph or so.
It's pretty annoying, would be nice if we got the option to manually stow it away like search radar dishes. I believe irl it's not automated and it needs to be lowered manually, although mandatory per manual when going for a drive to avoid any possible damage.
@@Wotplaya4 correct IRL it is not automated, no clue why it is still a thing makes the Bradley extremely painful to play.
@@aflyingcowboy31 I fine with automate systems. Only if it doesn't take 5 seconds for deploy. If goosebumps with enemy while it retracted, 9/10 you're dead.

m3a3 should be 9.3 and the apfsds should have 115mm of pen it is completely junk at 10.0 its better at being anti heli/cas its bad at anti tank roll

1:51 war thunder moment. Era irl works a bit but not that well but war thunder just bullshits u. I think bias but like accually not joking this time. It also I guess is important for balancing top tier because without era I'm pretty sure even my m60s 300mm pen apds might easily kill a t90 to the front at a really good angle with no era but era built stupid in war thunder. Even after it gets destroyed it basically regenerates and does not matter which drives me insaine.
Tow 2b was actually better than tow2a In Real life but gaijin made it super weak.
