This is absolutely breathtaking! The colors complement each other perfectly! I’ve been doing ribbon pours for a little while and I never knew it. If I messed up the original pour (which is often) I would try to salvage it by pouring ribbons of paint then tilting it and it usually turns out wonderful! lol I should start out doing a ribbon pour but I’m afraid I’ll just mess it up right from the get go, then how would I save it? lol Oh well, anyway, your paintings are gorgeous so I’ve subscribed to your channel! I’m going to head over and check out some of your other videos now! I can’t wait to see what other wonderful paintings you’ve done!🤗🥰

Hi Sarah thank you for sharing your lovely work. Can I ask please do you have a formula for working out how much paint you will need for different canvas types. You didn’t seem to have too much wastage on this pour - so impressed.
Hi Celia, it does depend a bit on the style painting, for this ribbon pour probably 28 ounces or so. I used 3, 8 ounce cups and then put a bit of whites around the edges before tilting. I’m sure there is a formula, but I’m more trial and error.
You just need to shut. up. with how gorgeous this is!! I don't generally like cells (weird in the pour world l know) but I can't imagine your ribbon pours without them! I'm actually starting pouring this weekend with mely.d pour and blow technique and this might have to be my next. I love your color pallette too! Gah! I can't take it! 😍

I love it! I saw the video of the triple decker sandwich by Sarah Mack when she first made it, and I loved it too. When you say, "70% Floetrol and 30 GAC 800 and product", where does the paint come in? Is it part of the 30% that has the GAC 800? If so, how much paint to the GAC 800? Thanks for the video! I love your work!
Hi Pamela! So I mix my pouring medium before I mix my paint in, the pouring medium is 70% floetrol and 30% GAC 800. After I have that mixture, I add it to my paint. I have a paint mixing video where a talk a little bit about different brands and types of paint mixed with the pm. I hope this is helpful, let me know if you have other questions :-)

When you use Golden Fluid paints (I think you use Teal in this paining), do you mix it with your medium anyhow, or use it straight? I find the colors to be runny enough, but soooo saturated that they can take over, and it can get very costly if I don't stretch the paints.
Debby Spertus Hi Debbie! I absolutely use pouring medium, about 7 to 1 in fact! The pigment in golden fluids is so strong. I’ve actually used glue to thicken my paint up a bit so it’s more the consistency of my other patients, especially for a multi layer pour. It comes out so runny compared to a heavy body paint mixture. Hope this helps! Happy to answer any other questions.
