We went down to the Idaho dunes in St Anthony this year from Northern British Columbia. They were awesome huge tall dunes and they are much closer to Canada. Next year we are going back to Winchester bay in Oregon. Year after that going to Dumont dunes for the first time. Then the year after that Galamis. Once your hooked on the sand it becomes an addiction.
I totally agree. We are definitely going to hit up Saint Anthony's in Idaho it is only a 12-hour drive for us
Yup We are close to Glamis and always make the 24hour drive to St Anthony atleast once a year. You think the bowls are big in Glamis, wait till you get in St Anthony, I have been flat out in 6th gear on my Banshee in the bowls up there reaching for another gear. Not to mention China wall is tiny compared to Choke cherry in St Anthony. Glamis is fun, for sure but I will never go back out one big weekend, it will always be an off weekend or head to one of the other spots like Patton valley where it is not as insane with the Family around.
You need to get cleetus and the boys to ride skeg with you!!!

It's been years since I've ridden the dunes out at Glamis, some of the best offroading I've ever done. We don't have anything like that out here in Florida.
This is better than the main blog channel. More action less talk talk talk talk. Hell yes.
The temps at night that weekend were perfect! So much fun...

Best dune footage I’ve seen yet! When you come down the hill with the pack pack behind you it puts the size of the dunes into perspective which is a tough task.

Ok, I’m showing my age. Oldsmobile hill isn’t half the hill (in steepness or blow sand) that it was 25-30 years ago. Back then we had a few whoops at the bottom and that was it! Back then hardly anyone was at Oldsmobile, everyone was at the old Comp hill by the highway. Old Comp hill use to be a good climb also. Nice vid, brings back memories.

We got brule sand dunes here in alberta but it's nothing compared to that but it's good for steep climbs

What was your impressions of the the Pro XP? I’m sure a stock 64” machine wasn’t exactly ideal but relatively speaking how was it?
It was fairly good. Power was decent but it bottoms out too easy with 2 people in it. Their 72" or wider model should be really good next year
Sure looks like that XP Pro lands nicely
With one writer it handles and jumps great put two people in it and it blows through the suspension pretty quick and you are bottoming a note. But a spring rate adjustment would help big time

Osta did you see Cleetus' machine on the big tires?... would it do well up by you in the skeg? Had a bit of a disagreement on another video with a guy who said it wouldnt do well.
Yes they put the big tires back on Saturday evening. I think it would do well everywhere where there was a bottom but in some bottomless muskeg I'm not sure how well it would do LOL
That suspension on McFarlands CanAm looks super soft coming off that jump....his front end digs into the sand......lol..
It was a brand new build with no suspension set up yet, they'll get it dialed

Yes for sure I don't think anyone had the proper suspension setup for airing it out
