Thank you for watching my video! After you finish watching you should check this Yellowed Playstation PS1 here: 😎🥰 ruclips.net/video/4HBr8NE17oc/видео.html
Of all the individual steps, the sand blasting chamber is my favorite
Mine too. I could watch this for hours! 🙂
Agree. Very satisfying.
Yup mine too! But he ALWAYS fast forwards through it! 😔 😢
the sand blasting chamber whats that???
@@ToraoDMugiwara The box with the giant gloves and the gun that strips paint off items.
This is my favorite restoration channel on youtube. No annoying background music, only real mechanical work sounds. Plus every item worked on here is genuine.
Great videos.
Couldn't agree more, I can't stand it when these types of ASMR videos suddenly have obnoxious public domain music blasting through and drowning everything out.
How you restored the lettering on the tires was so simple and so effective!
Yea! That was my favourite part
Ikr
Agreed. I would have totally over thought it and broke out a small brush lol
Yeah, that was brilliant. I wondered what he was doing. I'd never have thought of that
Like a rubber stamp or ink roller - very clever
Is it just me who find these types of videos very satisfying?
You are not the only one. I am hypnotized everytime.
nope, i can binge them easily =D
As of this writing, there are 22 people who inexplicably do not. I believe there are people who just live to dislike things.
Add me to the list.
I do 👍🏻
Great job, looks brand new. And what a find for only 1 euro.
The fans absolutely demand a TysyTube-Odd Tinkering collaberation. Make it happen gentlemen!!!!!!!
yeah; he buys a P.O.S. for one Euro and turns it into a 40+ Euro show toy!
Odd Tinkering fancy seeing you here your videos are great as well
Bro im your fans oso..tqsm.miss Ducktor🦆🦆kuekk😂🇲🇾
Somewhere, there's a middle-age man who was given that jeep when he was a little kid. If it could be proven to be his, I wonder how he'd feel to see it brought back to life like this. I remember old toys of mine that are gone forever. It would be awesome to see see one rescued and restored!
@His Masters Voice the intial price of a item does not reflect it's potential historical value or the sentimental value to some individual who encounters it in the future. Both values can drive the cost of the item to extreme hieghts. Tonka toys were and are to this day enjoyed by young children of all economic backgrounds.
@His Masters Voice Point missed entirely...
@His Masters Voice your estate auction will be dull and fittingly short.
My dad a one of those jeeps
@His Masters Voice What he is doing takes skill. We are admiring the skill. It is priceless.
Ok, dipping the tires in spray paint to redo the white wall was genius. Awesome work as always. :)
That's white lettering not white wall.
Y my me
Agreed!
That's a model building trick
The way you painted the tire lettering is clever as hell
My father, a retired engineer of 86, loves to watch these videos over here in Scotland. Thanks.
I would never have thought of using the hub puller for the tyres, brilliant idea.
Take a simple object, toy boat lamp or toy jeep etc... Restore meticulously with an eye for detail. Nothing complicated. And a simple object becomes a thing of real beauty. Which is why I really love your channel. Why should things always be complicated?
You were so detail oriented in this and I’m floored! What smart ways to do the letters on the wheels and the bolts! Wonderful job as always and I cannot wait to see more!
thank you so much 😊
My heart melted when he used a toothpick to paint the individual bolts on the tires... That attention to detail ♡
At first, I cringed when you sanded away the Tonka logos on the tires. Then, I cheered when you applied the new paint onto them. Brilliant trick!! Awesome job!
Looks nice, thanks for posting.
I love your channel because you don't have loud abrasive sounds. Very satisfying!
except for the loud horn at the end
As a military brat, this is one of my favorites. The trick painting the wheels was pretty slick. Of course, it had to have the star. 🇺🇸👍💖
Using gear bearing extractor for rim tires separation, that’s cool
It's amazing how what looks like a really easy restoration can be a bit more involved because of the way that something has to be dismantled and reassembled. I love the fact that you heated the axles and quenched them in oil to prevent rust. I suggested it for one of your recent restorations, and I know that it works well. I love the way you were able to redo the writing on the tires. That was a stroke of genius. Congratulations again. That is a superb restoration.
Subscribe to my new channel, i will upload awesome miniature constructions videos 😎 ruclips.net/channel/UCMh1pdYFaKvXCWYS-sAIgTA
OMG what an incredible walk down memory lane! I had one of these little jeeps, the big Blazer that you could remove the wheels from and the big yellow dump truck. The tire lettering was genius and only you would think of quenching the axles! Well done my friend!
I love that there's no music playing in this video.
Yay! A new Tysy Tube video! You are a smart guy - that was brilliant, the way you did the lettering on the tires. I love how you "drive" the truck,, before and after. I shared this video with my brother. He had some Tonka toys when he was a little boy. Thank you!
I love watching your videos. I admire your workmanship, the choice of tools and methods. Truly amazing!
Super job on that jeep. Off the frame restoration is the only way to go! The little details really made the build custom!
Love your videos. Very satisfying to watch. Salut from America 🇺🇸
That sandblaster is the best investment you’ve made! No more soaking in rust remover ; )
Sir, you put a lot of love and effort to your restoration projects, you are the best! I watched another RUclipsr all he did was sandblast then painted with one coat of paint! You take the extra steps this shows that you are a professional! I WILL ONLY watch you! I have subscribed and rang the bell! Godspeed sir!
You're so good taking stuff apart. Even patiently I don't think I could get stuff apart in such a shape to reassemble as you Tysy.
Wonderful work once again. Keep expecting powder coating on these projects, but the paint looks amazing as well. That tire trick worked like a charm. Love your vids!
100% AWESOME RESTO! It doesn't get any better, please do another Tonka restoration!
As someone else already mentioned, I was expecting you to paint rivets (I remember you doing that in other cases). The rest was great as always, you nailed the way how you've painted tires side, loved it.
very 😍😍😍
Subscribed few months ago and watched/ing all of your videos. I was a blacksmith for three years and I know what is it to remove hard rust. So satisfying to watch your videos. Perfect job and I am sure you are good guy. Thanks for the videos, waiting for more.
Wow. Fresh as the day it came out of the box!👍🏻👍🏻
My grandfather had a bunch of these metal Tonka's that my brother and I used to play with, so cool you restored one of them
Good work! You are definitely improving Your skills. With each new video, You are being more precise in Your works!
Had me worried with that little stripe of paint/rust left on the hood. Alas, you are a kind creator, and gavee us the satisfaction of that quick swipe with the Sandblaster to clean it up.
Soothing and satisfying as always, mate!
Looks great 👍🏼 now just needs a G.I. Joe driver.
The Wicked Network I was thinking exactly the same thing
Wish I still had my G.I Joes. I'm 54 and got my first one in 1968. It made me want to be a soldier and I became one in 1983.
G. I. Joe drove Barbie around in that Jeep in 1966 in our house. And we did have the trailer, carried Joe's ammo boxes...lol. What a great memory.
Kathleen Readinger that’s so awesome
Outstanding !! Your tire lettering technique has changed my life !! I will be using that for my projects now.
Sir since you're good at restoring things, I was wondering if you could... restore my cousin's life man! The dudes life is in shambles bro! Even God was like "nah fan, I just can't..."
😂
Maybe what he needs is a cousin who loves him and help him through difficulties. If he needs professional counseling and/or financial classes, then maybe that same loving cousin can help him find them.
I have the exact same Jeep. Mine from a child. Not rusted, but has a bent window frame. Time for a restoration after watching your video.
Looks like that screwdriver could use a dunk in MC-51 and a polish on the grinder as well 😋
Neil Z I was thinking exactly the same thing

What are those sayings? A mechanics car always has issues, and a plumbers toilet always leaks. Well Restoration youtubers always have rusty tools.
Werewolven and of course, a homeowner ALWAYS has an unfinished project or 12 going on at the same time!
Nice project. I like how you painted the tires. Neat method I'd say. Here is a little hint the next time you are using pop-rivets that are too long, remove the pin out of the pop rivet and cut the rivet down to the size you really need and than reinstall the pin again. It works perfect for any size...
I fell off my chair when i saw the tyre extractor!
I love that no matter how big or small the project you always go all out and do your best.
That was definitely not a "tire extractor" but I'll take it.
I just know it as a puller. Best for getting bearings off, and pull stubborn brake drums, all sorts.
we call it "arrache poulie" in french, pulley extractor
It was in this video 😉
@@Tim-57 no, that's what it was used for. Not what it is.
@@christianclark2763
Have used the tool many times.
I wrote that it was used in this video, with a "😉"....
That trick for painting the tire letters was genius!!!
painting the rims, but keeping the seats in uniform green? that was a little bit disapointing.
but the tire-extractor was just great!
Supreme Commander 95
That's great and the best thing about it is that anyone can do this type of restoration. It doesn't take any particular skill.
Really interesting stuff.
At least give credit to “rescue & restore” , anyway good job man
There are several if these kinds of videos, man, calm down. I believe R&R has even given Tysy a project before. No one is stealing from anyone, and there is plenty of content because of not just R&R, but Tysy, my_mechanics, and many others. Don't hate, subscribe to all of them and enjoy the quality content from many great creators.
NoFox Development ik they are all amazing creators but i had a thought on my mind and commented lol , but it is pretty pretty similar to R&R , it is all good lol
@@maathethird9345 doesn't mean he has to give credit to another creator for similar, but fresh content. That's just rude to Tysy.
NoFox Development didnt mean to come out as rude , sorry about that
I love your toy restoration videos. Toys are something that are meant to bring joy to people, and you truly restore that function with your remarkable work.
Please remove the rust from that screwdriver you used, it just makes me sad to see it like that.
I loved how you used that "Invisibility paint" at 5.27. The car just vanished before my eyes!

So cool to see this getting restored. I had one of these when I was really young, maybe 3-4 years old. I was pushing it around on the floor and fell forwards onto it. The windshield was laid flat against the hood and my forehead smacked right on top of it on that sharp edge. Mine was pretty rusty as well so I got to make a trip to the hospital for my first tetanus shot. I still have the scar on my forehead like 25 years later. Good times.
I would have painted the "JEEP" on the front too, but otherwise, well done.
The sandblasting machine is so satisfying. Instant results!
Rescue & Restore restored one few weeks ago. Are you making a contest all of you restorer ? XD
Very nicely done restoration. And pressing the tires on spray paint to highlight the Tonka logo detail was genius!
Should have had the rivets spray painted as well, otherwise: a great job.
J.M. K. Yes I too wondered why he didn’t do that.
...and the turn signals painted orange.
Or instead of using rivits, just use a button head bolt and nylon locknut. It's already "incorrect" and on the windshield frame it would allow it to fold as designed.
Real Tonka Toy made of steel instead of crappy plastic like today's. Nice work!
it is built like a tank
Nice job restoring that old toy. But I question the vintage of it, that style of tires/wheels wouldn't have been on a '60s era jeep. I'd place the vintage at around mid '80s or later, unless someone changed them at some point.
You and @rescuerestore are my favourite to watch. You just get it done and the end product is always high quality
Breaking : TysyTube did his work outside
I kept waiting for you to paint the rivets. Still, a good looking resto. I love the old jeeps.
clicked on the bell at the beginning of the year, when he signed 😊😊👍👍👍
I like that you don't spoill the end result In the thumbnail. It's so fun to see how it turns out.
Man , you brought me back to my childhood , lol ..........NICELY SKILLED JOB !
Vídeo muito bacana. Seu trabalho é muito bom. Parabéns!! 🇧🇷
@Matt Insett ✌🏼✌🏼
The technique you used in painting the white letterings on the tires is insanely sayisfying!
thank you so much 😊
thank you for using the sand blasting instead of the chemical paint removal... good move!!
Another great restoration. You're attention to detail is inspirational.
When you going to start powder coating?? :)
Excellent job!
I customize action figures and I'm familiar with the love and patience invested on every project. That was just beautiful...
Thanks for sharing!
Paint the pop-rivets green.
I love this on many levels! Please keep the Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) too!
Used to have one of these and would pile my army men into it. Great vid. Beautiful.
Your is always outstanding but, you got on wheels and tires, your the man, also a lot of your tonka toys you redone I have played with as a kid, thank you for the memories.
Personally I like the way old things look with a nice patina. I usually get them working but leave the patina. This is outstanding though. Keep it up!
So glad you painted it green and not purple or blue! lol
It’s very funny watching multiple restoration RUclips’s and seeing two of them restore nearly the same thing. XD
Everyone’s got their individual restoration methods though so it’s still enjoyable to watch.
Still love these videos. Call me old fashioned but it was more satisfying to me when you clean them with rust remover, pain stripper etc
Great Restoration my friend, had a Tonka Jeep and Tonka Tow Truck, your video bring lots of memories of my childhood playing with Tonka Trucks!! Thanks 👍🤗🙏
Great job. I have one of these from childhood around 1970. It’s still looks new.
You saved another one from the scrap heap. Well Done!
I want to play with it so bad! Thank your for uploading this video today. It was a rough day at work and I needed this!!!!
As a Jeep owner I fully enjoyed this
LOVE that color of green. This turned out great!
I saw this jeep and thought it would look cool with a race stule paint job ... those tyres and wheels are screaming out for it ...
As ever a brilliant video ...
I would so love to have this!!! I’m a Jeep girl for sure! I’ve drove nothing but jeeps! Love this!
Nice job, I wish the ones we painted would have been that easy. Thanks for sharing this video
I had this Tonka 40 years ago. Great video! I think the wheels and lights should have stayed white though.
I love watching your videos, always give me hints on how to do my own restorations. The white lettering step was an excellent job.
Great Restoration; you have done a fantastic job, I never tought that, that old little rusty car could get back in a great shape!!!!
Just brilliant. You’re bringing back my childhood!
This is great! I just bought the Tonka XR-101 Jeep Renegade to restore for my grandson. You give great tips! I don't have a sandblaster but I can use other methods! Thanks!
Having played with Tonka toys a lot when i was a young kid in the 80's, i was really worried when i seen the silver paint come out for the rims!!! Only when i seen it together did i actually realise that it suited it so well. (definitely with the star on top) :) Top job man, well done!
Really appreciate as a subscriber the tiny details you put in as well. The coloring of the bolts on the tire. I doubt anyone would have called you out on it, but you did it lol thank you as always, impressive and well done!
Man it's crazy how much time and detail went into toys made back in the day. Really cool episode. it would have been cool if you put a piece of clear heavy plastic or something similar for a windshield and glued it in.
Every time you bring out an object for the first time I always expect to see the rust make it all the way through when you sand blast it but they look pristine after you clean them. Great work!
