Thanks for your visit and enjoying the scene and special foods in one of our tourist place up south. However you missed when the taal volcano erupted a few weeks ago. That's how I also enjoyed visiting your place in london way back 1989.
This is the most best bulalo in tagaytay. No doubt. I tried the bulalo on a different restaurant and I compared it to Leslie's recipe and I'll be honest. Leslie's bulalo is the best! 😊
You went to my fave Buko Pie store! Nice. The baker was also the same baker we like talking with. He is really a nice guy! Glad you are happy in my hometown ❤️
Tagaytay is one of my go-to place when I want to escape Manila since it’s just a short bus ride away from Manila. It’s such a chill place and so nice to have coffee with a nice view. Next time, try to go to Palace in the Sky. I think it’s the highest point in Tagaytay. It’s kinda an abandoned structure turned into an attraction. For food, check out Bag of Beans. It’s a famous coffee place/restaurant there.
Wooowww I wanna go to Tagaytay again because of your vlog Micha and Justina! 😀😀😀. Your Taal Volcano vlog are soooo helpful too, as me and my friends will visit it this coming May!!! 👍👍👍 Hope you will fall in love with the Philippines more not only because of the places and food, but for the Filipino people as well. We love seeing you guys enjoying our country. 😉😉😉 Keep it up! We love the both of you. ❤💕💞
I admit..when I saw the thumbnail I thought it said Buffalo. As a fellow fan of meat and potato dishes...I was sold the moment Micha raved about it and I'm with Justina on sweetcorn. Killed the joy of the sausage on a stick I was munching on while watching. The coffee debacle was funny. Justina just looked like.."no milk? pfft..eff that.." I reckon he didn't understand what you meant..hahaha The views though...amazing. Good one!
I just had pizza for dinner but your bulalo tops everything hands down!!!! Now I am craving for bulalo!!! Hahaha!!!!! This video had me smiling from the start.
We Pinoys use toyo (soy sauce) or patis (fish sauce) as our dip to any of our meat dish. To add some kick, we mix it with calamansi and red chili. Yummy!!!
When ever I go on vacation we always go to Tagaytay, Leslie Resto, its always an amazing view of the Taal Volcano. Yes, I love bulalo, ( bone marrow soup), the middle of the bone taste like butter.
Tagaytay has always been our weekend go-to, just a short drive from my home city south of Manila. Next time, please try Bag of Beans, they serve good coffee and pastries. Glad you enjoyed your stay. Missing home from Peg City 🇨🇦
now i want to go up to tagaytay and go to leslie's or mahogany market or bulalo point and have some bulalo. just a tip, next time you eat bulalo, dip the meat into a mixture of patis (fish sauce), calamansi, and crushed sili labuyo(chili pepper)
Bulalo is one of my all time fave Filipino dishes. I especially like it if its prepared and served with bone marrow, like how it was served to both of you. I have had many bulalo servings in many restaurants over my lifetime and that one that the restaurant served to you looks like a superior version. I can prepare it with my Instapot at home, but I am lazy and lucky that I can get it from a local restaurant (in Los Angeles) that will serve the dish about one, or two, days a week. BTW, if you order coffee and your server doesn't understand what milk is, ask for gatas instead. Gatas is Tagalog for milk. Tagytay has a lot of good restaurant. I recommend you visit LZM for the bangus (i.e. milkfish) the next time Tagaytay. I normally don't care for bangus, but the way LZM prepares bangus is divine. They also serve a tasty version of bulalo.
Wow bulalo! That was mouth watering. Actually, next time try the breakfast at bag of beans. I think they have 3 different branches in Tagaytay but I love em all. More good vibes travel lovers 😍
Tagaytay is the place indeed for some hearty eating of hot beef bulalo soup/dish and steamed rice, and fried small tawilis fish you eat whole, only found there, no bones! :) Subscribed!
Those are really mouth watering! Amazing comfort food for a cold lazy day & just to sit back & relax. i just followed you now on IG 😄😄 Safe Travels Ladies 👍👍
dont forget the balut......mmmmmm...masarap. great video girls...love your travel experiences and detailed information. if you have not visited subic bay...make an effort to go and make sure you visit blue rock during the day and all the bars lined up on the main street during the evening hours especially at lollypops.

Girls their is one dish you did not try while in that restaurant and that is the fried tawilis fish which only thrive in taal lake. The calamansi, chilli and soy sauce mix is for thedipping of bulalo meat.
Right now I’m eating Harees or Jarees middle eastern foods but my eyes and imagination is in your Bulalo. Lol (Harees or Jareesh is a dish of boiled, cracked, or coarsely-ground wheat, mixed with meat. Its consistency varies between a porridge and a dumpling).
Bulalo means bone marrow. If you liked that, ypu should try authentic bulalo like in the meat market there in Tagaytay. Yix calamansi with fish sauce or soy sauce and chilli as condiment with the beef meat.
You girls are lucky to get around an see more of the philippines.my wife lives there but very busy to get around but its a wonderful place to be.
WITH Fish sauce, chili and kalamansi mix for dipping
Me too... That's how I make the sauce. It's to cut down the oil/greasiness.
Hhahhahaha, no

Tagaytay is actually quiet popular because it's near in Manila.
The calamansi is for making the sauce. There should be a Patis, calamasi and chillies on the dip.
Bulalo means Shank with bone marrow.
Awesome video! Thanks for making our mouth water with this dish. Bulalo- is a bone marrow.
