Hey Thilina, Thanks for the great tutorial. I followed all of the steps but unfortunately I can't see the texture in sketchup only when I do a render. I see the VRay logo and nothing else, on the object where I used the material. This way I can't really position it. Can you please advise on how to sort this out? Thanks
for future reference on how to resolve this problem: add a diffuse layer to the material, set the transparency to max and set the same bitmap image to this new diffuse layer, tadaaa, it's visible within sketchup and you can position it as you wish

is it possible to use an image texture from internet and use it in place of the "color" ? for example if I want marble or limewash
yes,in color you can use texture map also

it appears as "V-Ray Texture Helper.png"
