This looks good, I always use the grease gasket method also. One thing I make sure I do with RC's I know I will be going into water with is I coat everything that's metal with a thin coat of grease even the bearings and this helps stop things from getting corroded. 👍

No, I didn't have a bearing left over. Yes, some screws are left, but I never had an extra bearing in a kit, these are too expensive. But maybe they made a mistake in the quantity of bearings in your kit... 😊😊

I have recently completed my Buffalo and noticed my axles are a little notchy, do you experience the same?
If they are brand new, this is possible. After a few runs this should be better. I have many trucks with these axles and had never a problem. 👍😊
