I just tried the discount code on Amazon and it worked. The way you need to enter it it put the item in the cart first. Then proceed to check out. Enter “Greenytravel” no s in the box that states “gift card, promotional code or voucher” and it works. The pice drops 20%. It you go to just ordering without adding the item to the cart there appears to be no place to enter the discount code.
Brilliant. Now it'll take 20 minutes standing behind a Thai waiting to buy some food, then 2 hours standing behind Greeny while he asks how the cashiers day was while he's checking out the peanuts have peanut ingredients in the pack.
@@GreenyTravels The Thai King's eldest daughter collapsed from a heart condition on Wednesday evening, Thailand's royal palace has said. The 44-year-old was taken to a nearby hospital, then taken by helicopter to Bangkok, where she is being treated. The palace described her condition last night as "stable to a certain extent".
Thumbs up Greeny on the demo. believe its too pricey, so cost vs benefit doesn't justify over the free google translate app, at least for me. Also if living life abroad in Thailand I personally would better prefer learning the language and better respected.
A little bit expensive for $299.00. I wonder we have any phone App like this, so you don't need to carry two devices. Google translate, Microsoft translate and Apple translate will do, Never try with non English-speaking people with these App. Draw back is cellular plan you have to buy for each country.
MY translator costs me minimum of 30,000B per month and "it" even speaks Thai when I don't say anything! And of course "it" does other "things" as well. 🤣
Does the translator have bluetooth functionality to connect to any wireless/bluetooth headphone to use as a translator (either as a receiver/transmitter) or does it have to go through the device's mic/speakers only?
It's a pity the discount code doesn't work on Amazon UK, but I may give the earbuds a go and see how I get on, It did make me laugh when the Mrs gave you the look of anger lol
I tried a similar a device-Pocketalk however it was too difficult to use-wasn’t loud enough-sometimes my Thai gf didn’t understand all of it-inappropriate at times to show it to a pretty Thai-does need the internet-under $100 🇺🇸 -yours seem bigger-maybe louder-good in the short run-all use similar translation like google
They should send 1 to Paddy....no disrespect to Greeny but an endorsement from him would be 💣💥 🤪 Seriously....that certainly is a game changer....as long as ppl use the device for learning & not being a lazy Farang who fails to immerse. Good stuff Greeny....thanks for sharing 🙏
Walking around with that in your hand sends up a red flag saying target. Setting yourself up for the scam artist. Would probably be good for emergency situations.✌️
That’s Pretty good Brian, you just did a 13 minute commercial for that translation device. So I hope they definitely give you one for free. I saw one the other day that was a little bit better than the one you had. The way it worked was it came with two earbuds and each person put one earbud in their ear and then you talk to the machine and when you listen to it it translated for you in real time. So you could carry on a conversation with somebody without having to go back-and-forth with the device.
I see it has a male and female voice ... does it have a ladyboy voice too? Hahahahahahaha There is also another translater made in thailand thats a pair of earbuds....so you dont need to hold anything BUt seri0usoly, phone apps do the same thing
Time Kettle has been around for sometime and it is getting better all the time... I have worked in voice recognition for 40 years and for 40 years it has been said that next year it will work really well.... so.. you can replace the girlfriend with the time kettle device... now that is a huge savings.. LOL.... there are all sorts of time kettle devices, some are in ear "Ear Bud" translators, and group communications devices .. set it on a table and it will translate the groups conversations.... the key trick is in being able to recognize the thousands of different voice influxes... yes it somewhat slows the conversation and everyone should have a vocabulary of 10 to 20 everyday phrases, but with proper use it will open up a whole new world.... now all you have to do is figure out how to carry a cell phone, camera, tripod, translation device, battery power pack, earbuds.... oh... that's what the wife or girlfriend is for... lol.... have fun Ted
Seems they're reaching out to various RUclipsrs to promote for them. Sounds great, but reviews on GooglePlay are pretty negative. Research well before you decide to buy.
That is very cool and it translates fast. I would be interested. I know Google translator started some arguments for me and girlfriend with wrong translation. Good deal Greeny you got this offer. 👍
Maybe you can speak proper English into the translator. I get a new toy? ... News flash. Your phone can already do that. You can download any language free
Get them to Send You a Discount Code and I MAY Purchase it. I assume it'll also Translate Text Messages into either language Via Taking a Picture of the Message.
THE REAL PROBLEM WITH THE TRANSLATOR ON THE PHONE IS IT WORKS A LITTLE TO GOOD, BECAUSE IT PICKS UP ALL OF THE NOISE FROM AROUND YOU AND TRANSLATES WRONG BECAUSE OF THAT, BUT HEY BRINE NOW YOU HAVE TO CARRY YOUR PHONE AND THIS, ME TOO PROBABLY HAHA!!!
I need that translation fluent talk device. It makes live abroad so much easier. I can see where it will make learning a foreign language so much easier.
Perfect timing, I've been looking for one of these to buy. With your discount code at Amazon it comes in just under the other one I was looking at. Side note I found an online tutor phone application called italki. There are a ton of Native Thai language teachers on there that also speak English. I have not booked my first lesson yet, but uploaded a hundred bucks onto the account. Price per lesson varies with each teacher.

Just tried. Didn't work.
So now when you're at the mall walking around with your Thai girlfriend, you can understand what she's saying on the phone to her other boyfriend.
I wish it worked like that
Brilliant. Now it'll take 20 minutes standing behind a Thai waiting to buy some food, then 2 hours standing behind Greeny while he asks how the cashiers day was while he's checking out the peanuts have peanut ingredients in the pack.
Lol. Told ya I’m a pain in the ass. Just think how Fai feels

Me too. Keep picking up more little by little
That thing is like $300 bucks in australia for that I could pay some one to translate 😝🍻
Lol. That would be more fun
very interesting thanks

OK $2.99. No brainer🤣.
Greeny, thank you for this product review. The translator will come in handy for me when I come to to Thailand, this spring.
It’s helpful. I can’t wait to try it in Japan next month
Does the translator have bluetooth functionality to connect to any wireless/bluetooth headphone to use as a translator (either as a receiver/transmitter) or does it have to go through the device's mic/speakers only?
Good question. I gave it to a friend to try. I’m gonna see when I get it back
Mate, they have the same APP on any smart phone. ????? That thing is handy thou, unfortunately the price is quite high .
Yes. Nice gadget. Can do on phone too. This just a little more convenient
It's a pity the discount code doesn't work on Amazon UK, but I may give the earbuds a go and see how I get on, It did make me laugh when the Mrs gave you the look of anger lol
Make sure you use Greenytravel. No s. They spelled it wrong
I agree google translate doesn't translates correctly its like 75% accurate this thing seems on point
Yea. I agree. It keeps improving though.
I need one of those to talk to my Thai wife, she's been in the U.S. fo 30 yrs so she speaks English well but sometimes she doesn't listen
None of them do 😞
I thought when you asked the mechanic if he had any questions for you he would say no 🤣
He’s so shy
Will order one using your code! Thanks!
Thank you!!

Hi Greeny. Your discounted code of GREENYTRAVEL isn't being accepted by Amazon. Could you please look into that? Thanks
Hmm. Will look at it.
Thumbs up 👍 Greeny, Does it work if you cuss somebody out? 555
I’ll try it
Technology is good but I would rather learn to speak thai because it will give you a better understanding of the culture and people!
I’m working on that. Slowly though.
That’s a cool toy
Walking around with that in your hand sends up a red flag saying target. Setting yourself up for the scam artist. Would probably be good for emergency situations.✌️
I’m gonna take it to Japan.
@@GreenyTravels Japan would be nice to visit. 👍
You would do my fucking head in with that thing if I was behind you in a queue Greeny. 555
I just added a pin comment at the top explaining how to order on Amazon. Have to add to cart first
I bought a couple translator devices for when I’m ready to start travelling 😂 I don’t learn languages very well
I’m the worst a learning language
Does the device handle sarcasm well? Put it to the test :D
Lol. I will. I actually put it somewhere in my place and can’t find it now lol. I will today

That’s the same company. Interesting. I’d like to try that too
Greeny finds a man of few words to try the translator out on.
Lol. Thais get shy on camera
I see it has a male and female voice ... does it have a ladyboy voice too? Hahahahahahaha
There is also another translater made in thailand thats a pair of earbuds....so you dont need to hold anything
BUt seri0usoly, phone apps do the same thing
Air buds from the same company. Don’t think they are as accurate. This is better to converse. Phone apps ok too. This was very convenient though

Thanks Ted. That would save me money btw 😂
Can it do North Thai and Isaan language too? any other dialects?
No. Only basic Thai. It does have 21 Spanish dialects which is crazy
What about Cambodian or vietnamese?
Your amazon link doesn't work
Hmm. The order link or by discount code?
I just added a pin comment at the top explaining how to order on Amazon. Have to add to cart first

That was seriously funny when Fai Fai said that she's about to get angry. 🤣
Lol. She was waiting to go eat. Don’t mess with her food 😂
Does it require an internet service?
Nevermind, I needed to watch until the end. 😂
Ok

Bingo! Thanks Greeny
Works pretty well

Fai says this is better. I have no clue
I'm never going to be happy with those things until they get good enough to listen to a conversation in Thai and understand what it about.
They have some ear buds like that. Maybe I can get them to send me those to try
@@GreenyTravels they aren't that good. At least last time I checked.
Can you imagine the fun IF it could pick up a conversation at a table next to you or ppl behind/in front of you in line 🤪
The only thing is cant save in dating , relationship and marriage is , if your woman feels she's right and she will keep talking ... LOL
We are always right 😎😎
Maybe you can speak proper English into the translator. I get a new toy? ... News flash. Your phone can already do that. You can download any language free
I should test both ways and see what is more accurate
If that becomes a downloadable app I'm in. No thanks on basically carrying two phones around.
Yea. That’s the bad part

It’s fun
Are there different dialects like here in the Philippines?
Yep. 40 languages and many dialects. I think several Philippines Vloggers have made videos about this.
How much . 299 USD ??
Yes minus 20%
Johnny small did a demo on this
Oh. Cool. I think they are doing a lot of marketing this way
