Thank you so much for your helpful videos Julie!! I was wondering if you had any tips/routine for the fall season. My hair seems to be shrinking a lot when I do high puff during that season (although my hair does not seem to be dry), so not too sure what to do. Thanks
Thanku sooo much very valuable information! Will definitely drink more water...its good to know this information when you are on the Natural Hair Journey!🌞
Great videos. I just subscribed recently and I'm blown away with the information, you share it's really helpful. I shared your page with the few friends. Have you done any videos on Dandruff. I have natural hair but my scalp has loads of dandruff. I feel like I'm not winning the battle. Please share some tips you might know. I've searched on Google about the causes but some of us like to be taught to understand better😄 Thank you so much for all the videos. If you can please upload a video on dandruff management or something - anything.
Ahh…thanks so much for subscribing and for sharing my channel with friends. I really appreciate that ☺️🙏🏾 It’s always good to hear when people enjoy my videos. No, I’ve not done a video on Dandruff yet, but it’s funny you mentioned it because I’m currently working on one, which should be up on my channel on Sunday 🤗 So just make sure you’ve clicked on the notification button, so you get notified when it goes up!
@@HealthyAfroHair Thank youuuuuuuuu! 🤩🥰🥰 I'm going to bed with a smile tonight. It's so kind of you to even reply to so many of us. We really appreciate. Please do continue with that video. It's not a want but a need for me.😁Looking forward to it. 😊
Awww…no worries at all girl, I’m happy to help 🤗Btw, I’ve just uploaded the Dandruff video which you can watch here; ruclips.net/video/HZ-wU8WcEII/видео.html Hope it’s useful 💛
Thanks so much 🥰 I’ve never used it before, but hope to someday. But I do love how there’s no manipulation involved. You just pop your hair inside the blow dryer and it does it’s thing 😄🙌🏾
I know exactly what you mean. My hair is so dry I can hear it crackling when I touch my hair. It's constantly knotting up. I bought protein masks and several leave in conditioners and black soap shampoos and a hydrating for my hair. I tried using oils it does not penetrate nor does water anymore. I bought silk pillowcases and bonnets. I'm about to give up and go back to relaxers. I have a box sitting there but I'm scared my hair might be damaged and I'll just do more damage.
Hello, I’m new to natural hair. I was wearing sew ins to transition and I finally got it as I want, but I’m not sure if it’s dry. I shampoo twice, some times I use a hair mask, then I do a leave in conditioner and twist with curl cream and castor oil or rosemary. How can I tell if it’s dry?
Hi came across your video today and it's very informative because I have national hair as well ..which moisturizer would you recommend I have thick hair thanks in advance..
My hair hates WATER !! I can part my hair and moisturize it in sections and then bantu knot or twist in big hair twist to stretch it out, but whenever I moisturizes it with water it reverts back to a short length state and I have to start the process all over again. Is it bad to go a long period of time without giving my hair some water?
You can use water as a base, followed by a moisturiser when moisturising your hair. But when it comes to setting your Bantu knots, use either a curling or twisting cream. But avoid water, cos once you use it, it will ruin the style.
Try increasing how often you wash your hair, as product build up might be the problem or try clarifying your hair to remove deep down product build up.
I know some can affect hair growth or cause hair loss depending on the hormones contained within them, but I’m not 💯 sure whether it affects porosity or dryness.

Such great tips! I especially liked your first one about short chain alcohols! I never thought of that one before. 🙂
Yes, the first one can easily be missed, but I’m happy you found them useful ☺️
I know that in skin care never thought of in hair products
@@buyimncube2588 yeah same here! I guess we really do learn new things every day! 😄

Did the big chop and dryness is real… I am starting the journey and this part is the most annoying 😪

Let me go check the ingredients on all of my hair products😂🏃
Yes, go check, I’ll be waiting 👀😆
@@HealthyAfroHair iDid, some has the alcohols you said I'm to avoid and some of the one's that are best😭😅😂. I'll be more keen in future purchases🤗
@@haleyclarke1332 Ahh…really?! 😄 Well at least you know what to avoid now 🙌🏾

Hey! The surface of your strands will feel dry, wiry or hard, rather than soft, smooth, moisturised and supple.
I shaved my hair because of heat damaged I just started sharing my hair journey on youtube
A fresh start is always good 👌🏾 Best of luck on your healthy hair journey.
Thank you ...we'll practice that.

Hi came across your video today and it's very informative because I have national hair as well ..which moisturizer would you recommend I have thick hair thanks in advance..
Hey, good to hear! In terms of products, do you know your hairs porosity, density, texture? That will help me to make some recommendations.

No worries 🤗
Hi my hair always dry and breaking and grey
Hey, hopefully my video will be able to provide some answers for you! With the grey hairs, you can always opt for permanent or temporary hair dyes.
Keep in mind that hair dye will contribute to dryness.
Very usual , thank you🥰
Good to hear and you’re welcome ☺️
I do every single thing here and my hair is dry
Try increasing how often you wash your hair, as product build up might be the problem or try clarifying your hair to remove deep down product build up.
Does birth control change hair porosity or make it dryer ?
I know some can affect hair growth or cause hair loss depending on the hormones contained within them, but I’m not 💯 sure whether it affects porosity or dryness.
