A few non negotiables about money: 1)diversify your money don’t eat ur seeds..Grow it first..2)Compund interest..Einstein calls it “the 8th wonder of the world..” 3)Delayed gratification..Be intentional with ur money and have a goal..Last but should be first gain a skill where the marketplace needs u more than u need it..This is how u make ur self employable and not deployable..Do this in ur leisure time or wake up two hours early to learn a skill for thirty minutes max..Hope this helps🙏🏾👀💪🏾💯🎯

As stressful as work can be sometimes, I’m grateful to have money coming in because it gives me options. So with that being said, let’s go make that money, Uncle Rom!

Love this perspective. I have 4+ years experience in day trading and I have great potential (not bragging) but I struggle with working on a job while I build and compound my portfolio. My perspective was I don’t wanna work for someone else and I let my pride get in the way. It’s like I loose sight of the goal when I’m too focused on the lack of not yet having achieved my goals

Another great message Rom. Although most of us are aware of this, i believe there is another layer to add. Too many of us, especially in the U.S. are brainwashed by society and amongst ourselves to find the "perfect" job that pays a lot of money. Yes, that's the goal, but i think many of us feel shame for taking less appealing jobs such as fast food, etc, especially when we are older in age bracket. I feel like in other countries, you could be a fisherman and seen as making a respectable living. Yes, im speaking a little for myself, but I know that others may be going through this. I believe most of it is shame and pride and look at certain jobs as beneath us.There are plenty of jobs out there. Like you said, just find a job to start and use it as a stepping stone for other endeavors you want to explore.

I partnered with a guy who became addicted to meth. Before I knew what happened he went through a years worth of my work and lost me the next three years of work. Cost me close to a million dollars and my business.
I got a job collecting chestnuts at 0.50 cents a pound or minimum wage. I collected them so fast I made $20 a hour. I also collected 80% of the chestnuts that year. There were 21 of us collecting the chestnuts. So I collect four times what the other 20 people collected.
After that I got a job stripping grape vines off of trellises. Only $9 a hour but all the overtime I could get. Worked around 75 hours a week.
I kept my house and my family was feed. But had to stop working for myself for a while.

@@galaxypt4152 I posted to affirm what Rom said. He is absolutely correct. Sometimes you just need to get a job.
      Those jobs were short lived.
The work I do now pays many many times that. But those jobs were needed to get along down the road.

What about one job like sales where the hours are unpredictable and can easily surpass 12 hour shifts?
    Is that sustainable??

Do it and see how you get o, even if it's temporary. You might be really good and make some good money out of it. If you don't like it then It's still Work experience that you can add into your CV and the skills are transferable. Just keep your morals intact and don't get tempted into adopting deceptive sales practices like many end up falling into.
