Pokémon HeartGold Hardcore Nuzlocke Fire Types Only! (NO ITEMS / NO OVERLEVELING)

A hardcore nuzlocke of Pokémon HeartGold was long overdue, so I decided to try a monotype run with my favorite type, fire! If you want to see more hardcore nuzlocke content, please consider subscribing to the channel!
Hardcore Nuzlocke Rules:
1. Any Pokémon that faints must be boxed or released
2. I have to nickname all of my Pokémon.
3. I can only catch the first Pokémon I encounter in an area
(excluding duplicates).
If it faints or runs away I'm unable to catch another one.
4. Battles have to be on 'Set Mode'.
5. No over leveling
6. I can't use items in battle (except held items)
Additional Rules:
I can only use fire type Pokémon in battle

Truth be told, these games used to be my favorite when I was younger (and more naive) but as I've gotten more experienced with Pokemon I've come to see some of the glaring flaws in them. There's still plenty to love though, so I will definitely be back to Johto for another hardcore nuzlocke in the future.

Another masterclass, Blanco!! Really showing off how offensively charged those fire types can be. I was left speechless with how well you used your Macargo as I have always walked away from it with those four times weaknesses. Clutch fights, great commentary, unique challenges, subtle humor, and constant improvement. It is fair to say your channel is amazing. I don't think I could have made it through the late game without Magcargo and the snail-like tactics of sleep + recover to stall out some battles. Working on the next one as we speak!

I completely missed Numel that was a total oversight by me lol. I probably wouldn't have brought it to Red anyways since I have to bring an HM Pokemon to get up there but I definitely would have caught one if I had seen that I could
