Pokémon Black 2 Hardcore Nuzlocke - Poison Types Only! (NO ITEMS / NO OVERLEVELING)

Many of you wanted to see some more hardcore nuzlocke videos of Pokémon black 2 so I was happy to oblige. I feel like monotype nuzlockes using only poison types are a pretty good challenge for most generations as there's a lot of Pokémon to choose from, and they're not exactly overpowered. I think they're a bit stronger than their reputation though.
Hardcore Nuzlocke Rules:
1. Any Pokémon that faints is considered dead and can
never be used again.
2. I have to nickname all of my Pokémon.
3. I can only catch the first Pokémon I encounter in an area
(excluding duplicates).
If it faints or runs away I'm unable to catch another one.
4. Battles have to be on 'Set Mode'.
5. No over leveling
6. I can't use items in battle (except held items)
Additional Rules:
I can only use poison type Pokémon in battle

I've had a few requests for different types of runs and I plan to get to most, if not all of them at some point in the future, including other runs of Black and White 2. I have one more video planned for the month of October and it may or may not be spooky season themed.

Love seeing drapion put in work. It's one of my favorite pokemon largely in part because of how strong it was in my first nuzlocke of white 2 where it served as a late game carry with good bulk, good attack and only one weakness
Drapion helped carry me through my poison type platinum nuzlocke and ever since then I've always had a soft spot for it as well. Also has awesome type coverage with the moves it can learn, definitely a big fan of it as well.
Blanco! Another very enjoyable poison only nuzlocke! You were able to really showcase the movesets as well as strengths and weaknesses of a lot of these Pokémon that I'm sure a lot of us have never really used before! I appreciate the time and effort you put in to make these come alive. Great job and keep up the amazing work! ^_^
Hopefully I can inspire some people to consider using a Weezing in their nuzlockes

A few of them were super lucky for sure. If only I channeled that luck into winning the powerball instead of a Nuzlocke haha
@@blanconeenyoFat Mac was also a devastating sacrafice for the win. Definitely the mvp of this run and was my favorite until I realized the play that had to be made

I think the reason why potion types have such a low base Stat total because there's currently one true posion type legendary. While most other types have alot of legends. Same with bug type. Jeez I never realized that.

That will definitely skew the data. I think it's also that a lot of the early game bug types tended to be bug/poison and have low base stats and drag down the average a bit as well. Either way, justice for poison types! haha
Have you tried Type Nuzlockes in other monster tamer games?
I have not. I've played so much Pokémon in my life and that naturally pushed me towards Nuzlockes, played a bunch of them for a while and figured maybe I should try making some content around it.

Gengar for sure. If I have to choose a non-ghost (because objectively, ghosts are super cool) then I would say crobat
