They are embarrassing our club and fan base because we all believe this should have been resolved quickly and ethically. We are in the wrong, well Tan and the upper management is. The facts are he signed for Cardiff, he was announced as a Cardiff player and was on his way to Cardiff. The main overriding fact is this though… two people unfortunately died. Just put this to bed and pay for the player. Let his name be remembered for his excellent career up to his unfortunate passing and not be brought up for legal battles.
That isn't the issue tho - Nantes' agent in the deal put him on that plane. Cardiff offered a separate flight which was turned down; our case is that Nantes are liable for his death and therefore any financial loss that it caused to us as a club. Its awful that it comes to this bickering but in the cold light of day why should we pay 15m quid when we don't have to.

it's his job and duty not to let the club he destroyed over an act of god they couldnt control. the two clubs should have split the costs between them from the start as a sign of good faith. dont envy the cardiff side having to either roll over and watch the club's demise or be vilified as cartoon villains by a bunch of fat boomers watching on tv at home
Not a Cardiff fan so I have no dog in this fight. CASS where always going to side with Nantes, there’s a perception of let the rich Prem club pay for it. I think the CCFC should fight this tooth and nail. Whoever put him on that plane is responsible for this.
