This is how it should had been in F1 Manager 2022, I feel like tyre wear/different tyres make no difference in the game and is killing the experience for me.
Tip - WMC don't care how many pit stops you make. Try one stop sttategy if tire can hold more than half of whole race - In APS, two-stopper is worst call unless driver's smoothness is too bad - IDK why, ERS allowes one-stop strategy in 13 lap race(when race length is short). Driver 1(or 2): Tires are in usual, but locks on low, make sure to endure 7 laps before the pit -> after the pitstop, fuel's now in usual too Driver 2(or 1): Tires and fuel are in usual before the pit -> engine mode is locked on low after pitstop Less or more than 13, it never work
I've been driving standard (medium) length races, and I assure you that two stops are quite regular there. Your strategy might work for the short length, though I can't confirm as I haven't played at that setting. It's fantastic that players have the option to change race length to preference, so others who run short races might benefit from this strategy! Thanks for posting. :)
Incorrect. Driving on tires that are at the bottom of the tire gage increases wear, just as if they were overheating. The driver gives you an in-race message as well. It’s easy to simulate, especially during a yellow flag. Wear goes up if they’re extremely cold.
@@Whackamatt -Actually I tested this once to make sure, and my wear didn't increase at all. unless they have updated this in the last 4 months- wrong If you click on the data button you can find a window where you can see wear % per lap with tire temp and lots of other info. You can even see opponent info mid race, very useful to see if they are overheating, and if their tires will last to the end
@@Whackamatt I just did a few tests, and it seems you are correct, the tire wear seems to go up from 3% per lap to 4% per lap, and on softer tires from 4% to 5%. It's a very small increase but it is there. Though I rarely get to 0% temp so my ignorance didn't affect me. nice to know though, thanks!
Worn tyres can be fine- it depends on the cost of the stop vs the gain of the new set. Cliff is absolutely awful though, if you have to run on them for more than half a lap your result is completely gone.
Most of the time i stretch them till a safe 30%, Sometimes for certain strats i'll go as low as 15-20%, i don't go lower than that or i'd just have a bad strategy.
@@rigf1997 I started just practicing on the hardest tyres and gaining as much bonus speed as I can to limit the speed loss to those on softer compounds. With the benefit of longer runs and less pit stops.
how i ran almost all my races is hardest or 2nd hardest compounds. but i usually have low to mid tier drivers.... so i got to make up time somewhere. fewer stops it is. @@LordWay
2024, where are you man? I really like the pace of your videos and explanations! And the quality is top tier. Hope you doing good!
With so much quality videos on different topics of a game, cannot believe how underated your channel is ... Keep up the good work bro!

nice guide
If I understood correctly, driving on extremely cold tires, does not increase tyre wear nor lap times?
I believe that is correct, yes. Certain aspects of the game have been simplified compared to real world physics and tyre behavior appears to be one.
@@Gubaji thanks :)

Thanks for watching!
nice video mate. can you tell us if there is any multiplayer championship on f1 at this game that we can participate?
To my knowledge, unfortunately not. Perhaps the new title Frontier is producing will have something like this? That would be fantastic!
great video
omg I have been doing strategy all wrong i consistently go longer in races and have worn tyres for several laps before removing
