    Oi Oi Savaloy! Beautiful work Daniel. Again! I love watching your experiments. It’s cool to see some growth in the professionalism of your video production when I look back on videos like this one from a couple years ago. You have a gift of always being curious about your medium. It pairs well with your natural ability to teach and inspire others, even the hopeless numpties Like me!!
    I’ve been a watercolorists for years, but during Covid, like many people I found inspiration in a new medium- I started watching people build Epoxy River Tables on YT videos. Last Christmas my wife bought me an Epoxy River Table Builders Workshop Video. I’ve been obsessed with all things Resin ever since. Lately, no thanks to you mate! I’ve now been playing with Pendant Molds using 1:1 Resins like the one you use in this video and UV Resin. I’ve been experimenting with Alcohol inks in globe Molds for LED light stands. I’m doing a Clock in Resin right now! Obsessed!
    I have a quick Question- apologies if you covered it in this video already. When you transfer your Lets Resin white pigment (adding a ball bearing) to the smaller bottle with the fine tip, do you thin or dilute that Lets Resin White? If so with what, and how much is your ratio? That LR brand Pigment is SO heavy I find it sinks in a lot of my molds. How can I prevent blobs of white sinking to the bottom (or top!) of my globes on LED light stands?
    Congratulations on all the success you’ve earned and thanks for the massive amount of content, cheers! …..Scott

    • @daniel..cooper
      @daniel..cooper  11 месяцев назад

      Thanks so much Scott 🥰 That means a lot 🥰. Yes, I too would love to try tables soon 😊 As for the white, no, with my collab epoxy it doesn't need diluting, it sounds like your epoxy is a lower viscosity so the pigment is sinking further. As a test, dilute 50/50 with some Isopropanol and see how that works out, you can then adjust from there 😊 Come back and let me know how it goes please 🙏

And, if you make yourself a wish list on Amazon, and list the link on your videos, I'll try to send you some things you're really wishing for. (like maybe new molds to replace the discolored, dull ones) And, by the way, I love the silicone effects in these. They look like tiny, alien landscapes!

    Learning a lot! The shaking the inks.... OMG why have I not realised that's what's been going wrong? But I come from an acrylic pour perspective and just somehow thought I'd get bubbles. Durggggh. Anyhow... I love the ones WITHOUT the silicon oil. Spores?... Nah - not for me. I hate it when blobs reach the front and just chuck them away. You have inspired me . So I shall be incorporating your cloud or feather technique as the 2nd /back layer over a dried flower front starting today. Fingers crossed I can avoid blobs! Cheers!

    I call it "pink", too, Dan, and I refuse to call it anything else! My eyes tell me PINK...therefore, pink, it is. 😅
    This is a really fun experiment, very interesting what silicone does in resin. Seems like it causes the inks to spore more deeply on the sides, but less so in the middle? *I* dunno! But, yeah, the 2nd round you took out was *really* different! Looked almost like creamy-white, satin fabric in the middle! The 2 large hearts you pulled out are both very cool...can't decide which one I like most. The last one is crazy cool! Spiraling spores! I've never seen the like. 😊
