Its a well laid out van. Two things I love in the D62 compared to a self build are. 1 - the sliding door is on the drivers side making it easier to come up with ideas for small kids bed 2 - the front sunroof. Could they be fitted to a self build I wonder.
My type of layout and size. Only thing I would add, is a window at the kitchen area, even if it is two small ones to make fit, or alternately, have the kitchen at the sliding door end.Always relaxing to watch out of the van while preparing food. Also, perhaps upgrade to Max Air fans. Great van. No mention though if it comes with a Reverse camera that will display on the "infotainment"/Radio system, unless these are standard?
These Dreamer vans look really good quality. Thought you would be looking at the family vans now though? We would like a van of this size (if we didn't need it as our daily drive) for our family of 4, but there isn't a lot of choice for four/five berth vans at this size. Think this is strange considering you have more space than a transporter sized van, but most of them are at least 4 berths. This would be an excellent van for a couple though.
aah , i was trying to work out if that bed / bathroom layout would work for my own conversion , hadn't thought of accessing the toilet cassette that way.. as always good review
Great video, also useful that you showed all the vents. It's 6.36m long, but the space is used well. Shame there is no window in the bathroom, a window+vent is a great way to air them. Otherwise, very nice!

Great review thanks. For the cash I’d have a Rapido Motorhome for same money....more space, just better and easier to live in. These vans seems pricey for what they offer. Rapido still make quality vans but put cheaper Dometic fittings in which in our case all broke and took ages to get sorted under warranty...2 years in the hobs case!
Sorry but you're wrong. Is for the 230v underfloor heating. It's an option. That's why they are expensive. Dealers in the UK always request their motorhomes/campers to be fully fitted.
Nice van,!!! it's possible that the "bacon" button is for the aspirator? Or for the floor heating? The informations on the web site isn't so clear ... 😁
Great review... The bathroom arrangement is much better in this one than the other one with that odd fold out door that went onto the bed. I really like the vans with the bathroom swing door. One side is the toilet and sink,you swing the centre and there’s the shower. Don’t know why more compact vans do not use this system.. Are you going to change the name of your channel to.. A Bus And Beyond And Baby!

well, ducato does have 9 speed auto option, so I presume it can be ordered as an option, think its £3000 extra by fiat,......i collect my Ducato auto this week, then its conversion time whoopee.
Yes at least the Dreamer XL Select Limited that we have coming has the 9 speed auto - and engine upgrade to 160bhp from the 140bhp standard. There is also a 180 bhp option but I've not seen one of those ordered.
Tried to fit a luxury motorhome into a camper an. Result is too small a bed plus I suspect too small a shower, though that was not covered well in an otherwise excellent review. With camper vans the bed is everything, if you don’t get a good nights sleep......

I don't like the sliding door as I've had issues with them: I prefer the dbl-hinged ones that you can open one section at the time. I also don't care 4 the lack of windows. Apart from that, the decor is nice.....just not 4me.
Pretty camper. I like the bed layout. Easy to pull over for a quick nap and ‘Oh, a little bin!’ 👍

Some nice features. No bench space or meal prep area. I suppose its an easy fix though. Just throw a big piece of plywood on the bed. Viola.

No solar but it does have two leisure batteries.
It’s pre-wired for Solar, there is an option to fit...we have.
