Lisa Marli, hi that vehicle is a FIAT, WHOM OWNS FIAT CHRYSLER, the RAM devision does have similar, NOT IDENTICAL, so check them , also FORD TRANSIT has different models 3 heights 3 lengths , I am sure they have changed interiors to suit the buyers !. then there are various designed on the MB SPRINTER there is NOW a petrol engine is available ,for those whom do not want DIESEL 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Having spent the weekend next to a family playing jenga with all their kit in a cali (luckily the weather was good) this seems more sensible... however those on site with kids who were in caravans had it best for sure !!

OK I have to say this is the smartest, best van and video I've ever seen! It's perfect, everything I'd want for my family! You really showed everything very well not just quick glimpses of different areas like most other videos, which is frustrating. I think the only thing the camera didn't show was the shoe storage, or maybe my phone was being stupid 🤷♀️. I loved everything about this van... Genius build!!!
Incredible! I think this layout is close to ideal for a family or group of friends. Love that the dining/working area has belted seats so passengers can do activities at the table while in transit. And the convertible bathroom is ingenious.
Saw these at the NEC show a few years ago, excellent van (probably the ultimate family van) with one small but hugely important exception (for us anyway) and that was how narrow the rear seats were, tight even for late primary age kids, nicely sculpted but v narrow (other manufacturers have exactly the same and are less comfy looking hence we decided on a Caravelle to tow a small caravan rather than van); think I have a photo of my boys (eldest v skinny, youngest more like a prop forward!) trying to sit together but with their shoulders overlapping, even with the one on the outside sort of hanging off a bit - would have caused far too many arguments! If the manufacturer could have the seats on sideways slide rails (think Hymer have something like that in their vans or RIB seats also slide) would really be the ultimate van (if they could also get isofix in the rear?) that would actually last for ages even with growing kids. Great review, thanks Harvey great points well made (love his playpen!) ;-)
good presentation! we switched from the VW California to the Family Van 2 years ago. The van is perfect for the four of us, the seating area is huge, the beds are comfortable and sufficient, the van is fully usable even in winter, the workmanship is fine. I only had to remove various squeaks (in which motorhome there are not?), optimize the heater vents, install a LifePo4 battery, then it was perfect for a family.
AB&BEYOND, This is quite a layout , that bathroom swing door is pure genius ! , sleeps so many + seats w/belts RAM in USA is owned by FIAT so the ONLY DIESEL if you need one is a FIAT engine , otherwise engines ARE PETROL, 15 MPG ON THE FLATS, but down to 9 mpg on mountains ! Can’t take the descending bed. Years ago, researching RVs and travel vans I bought a very used Winnie View just because it had a shower and permanent bed. Never wanted to reconfigure so I could sleep because I stopped a lot in interstate rest stops. I had a lot of fun with it but it was too tall to fit in my garage. Every spring I had to deal with squirrel nests and the damage they do living under the hood all winter. Now I have an ‘83 Vanagon that is enough for an old, white haired old man. It’s all in what makes you happy This van’s front lounge is very nice and a huge fridge!
Great review and one of the few compact options for a family with 3 kids - or an extended surfing group or whatever (not that I'd expect a group of younger surfers to be able to afford). Originally ordered a Dreamer XL from a different dealer to this one and they messed us around (sold our delivery slot to someone with a trade in I suspect) so cancelled and was lucky to find a Dreamer D60 Fun that was destined for the cancelled NEC show in 2020... picked it up last December and it sat on the drive for 5 months :( But it worked out really well. Addition of a Labrador puppy made the D60 make more sense - better bedding areas for him - and he (the puppy) has done his John O'groats (Scottish North West Coast 500) and Lands End photos already. Our first camper and loving it. Done 23 days so far. I'm off to the Welsh coast in a few days for a short fishing trip and we are doing 10 days in Northumberland and Scotland in September once the kids go back... might slide a few days in before that. The van has been great. Compact but innovative designs. We looked at few and Dreamer ticked our boxes. I love the separate shower and toilet BUT ... I also love the huge fridge freezer in the D60... we really can stock up and do 10 days without having to shop.
This is one of the cleverest van conversions. Better as a 4 or 3 berth perhaps, but practical nonetheless. My kids are grown up now, so no need thankfully!
We are a family of 4, so yes perfect for us. However I like the idea that if the bottom bunk is folded away and we are using the storage area we can use the table area for them to sleep.

Good review as always, thanks Team B&B. I think more vans should do fifth occasional seats. As a family of four we can’t take Grandma out for the day. Unless I stay at home and watch the footy !
I know I'll get mauled by the other commenters but I definetely prefer the lowering bed set up over the pop-top,. From my point of view the lowering bed is far superior as it doesn't entail extensive modifications to the van to be installed in, it can be used in all weather conditions, it is protected by the vehicle itself and not by a few pieces of cloth that may or may not be of good quality which is why many resort to covers to better protect theirs, and last but definetely not least it isn't claustrophobic as is even the widest of the pop-top beds.
We went full blown Motorhome, fun, but not practical (for us anyway). Traded it for a t6 and loving it, been so many places larger vans can only dream of. Brilliant review, these Van's are cool👍
I think a lot of people chop and change their vans depending on what they want out of them at that time in their lives! There’s nothing wrong with change! So glad you’re loving your T6!
That’s a really nice, bottom bunk bed would be used for a bed for my dog. Layout out really really nice, nice light interior. Would definitely have one if I was in a position to have one.

Looks expensive (but I think they all are now, not helped by the silly prices of the van bases). Nice job though and caters well for the family I would think. Personally I would have added the option to remove or lift the bottom bunk to make a larger garage - just the right size for mountain bikes. The shower is great, don’t see why more compact vans are not using this option. Thanks for showing us around 😊
The bottom bunk does do this and is fab. Also means if we need to use it, you can then sleep on the 5th bed (as only 4 of us). I would add a photo from the brochure, but can’t. On that theme I'd find it really helpful if you could talk a bit more about the relative sizes of the vans you review. That van has great facilities but I'm left not really understanding the nippiness (and fuel efficiency) trade off...

Another great review guys, thank you, but as mentioned below the payload is nowhere near enough for 5 people plus luggage plus all the usual camping paraphernalia plus a tankful of water etc. I doubt if SVTECH (or anyone else) could uprate it either as it doesn’t look like it’s on a maxi chassis. Other than that there were some clever ideas.
SvTech can upgrade this, it has reinforced rear axle suspension as standard, and with 16" wheels and rear air suspension added I think 3850 or 4000kg is possible. Also these are available from Dreamer on the 4.25 Heavy if you prefer.

It’s 501kg including driver, gas, water and fuel at 90%. Enough for us.
