Everything gets better with carnivore. It's never too late to give up. We love and appreciate you, Dave, for sharing your story and helping us convince even those on dialysis that it's never too late to give up.
@TheGardener54uk I do plain and simple low carb. Have some broccoli because it's the only veg I'm ok with. Just meat was to hard for now because I'm not a huge meat and egg person. I've lost about 30lbs. I take vitamins and never had fatty liver my kidneys' heart and lungs are all good I think because of my vitamins. I do not think vitamins are a cure all but very helpful to prevent a lot. Coq10..and a good multi vitamin also...milk thistle with turmeric. And a good b complex.
@@TheGardener54uk Did you actually go carnivore for at least a full month? My husband and I took 8 weeks to transition and I didn’t feel good during that time. But it’s been eight months(TODAY!!!) that I’ve been 100%carnivore and I am thrilled! No migraines at all!!! first time since I wasa Toddler that I went 8 months without a migraine or even a headache of any sort! My husband was healed of ankylosing spondylitis symptoms! Late of February last year, I went to see my doctor for tingling & numbness on my left foot. My doctor diagnosed me with type 2 diabetes, my a1c that day was 8.9. I’ve always been pre diabetes, but I never cared about since nothing works with previous doctors advised. This time around, the doctor told me to look up Doctor Ken Berry. I binge watch all his RUclips videos. I jumped both feet on Carnivore diet, lost 60lbs, lowered my a1c to 5.7, and on Thanksgiving day of 2023…I ate pie and turned into 5months relapse. I brought my A1c back to 6.2. I can relate how addictive sugar in any form. Back again on carnivore diet since march 10th. This time I planned on sticking to it.
Thank you for sharing your story. My left retina detached and my right almost detached. They did an experimental surgery and saved three quarters of it. I’ve had a foot of my intestines removed. My doctor just told me I’m sugar resistant. I just started carnivore a week ago. The weight is coming off but I have a lot to learn.
So Proud of you, continuing on and finding carnivore!!! Excellent job!!!! Please keep telling us your healing story!!👏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️ The first week I noticed I could think clearer and felt more positive. And lost 3 lbs. I had pain between my ankle and knee even at night and it began hurting less and I began just standing on one leg and holding onto something to strengthen it too and now the pain is almost all gone!! Sleep became longer and better and energy has increased!! Keep moving forward! I get meat out of freezer often sometimes daily and keep bacon on hand and have eggs too and butter . I mostly do BBB&E butter bacon beef and eggs. Wishing you the best on this healing journey!

Dave… I also suffered from bipolar depression and anxiety for many years and it has gone into full remission (and off all meds) since going carnivore. Great story and I live in Boca, not far from you in West Palm Beach. 😊
Dave!! You are AWAKE!! You know what’s up 💪🏼💪🏼 I think many more have woken up the last couple years. God bless your health journey-thank you for sharing your story ❤
I find sugar addiction to be the hardest thing I’ve had to overcome in my life. I can’t seem to stop that “f it” after my one meal of 2 lbs of beef and fat even though I’m so stuffed… and I will go to any lengths to get my little sugar fix after that meal… frustrating!
Add more fat to your meal. Avocado, grassfed butter, ghee, pan drippings, etc. Cravings will stop. Try going for a walk right after eating can help as well. Just keep going.

Hey Dave. Thank you for sharing your story. It's inspiring. I have been a SDA since I was 10 and haven't looked back. What you shared about our church is true. As a young Christian at the time, I went vegetarian/vegan but that lasted only a few months. I have never fully given up eating meat but I was carb heavy, only clean meats based on Leviticus 11. Today, I'm a cancer survivor, hypothyroid, morbid obese, hypertensive, prediabetic..and I know it's from my poor eating over the years. I've been dabbling with the carnivore diet since June 2024 and I feel so great mentally and physically. I do need to just stop cheating because I know it has great rewards. Please go back to church though. God bless. Thank you Kerry. Always enjoy your podcasts ❤

I went from a pre-diabetic diagnosis to a T2D crises within the span of 3-months, hospitalized for 5-days with a rare presentation of DKA, a HbA1c of 12.1%. Within 40-days from my first dose of insulin, a dose given in the waning days of 2020, I took my last dose, no longer relying on any drugs to manage my blood sugar, maintaining a HbA1c of 5.6% for the past 3-1/2 years. Accordingly, although I still suffer from metabolic syndrome, a condition I am actively resolving, I am in T2D remission. On the other hand, one of my siblings was hospitalized for a T2D crises in the summer of 2020 and she has never managed her affliction despite my best efforts. I find T2D especially hard on those who suffer from mental health challenges, the disease requiring considerable mental clarity to beat.

Now my vision isn’t good enough to be able to drive. I want to tell people that the time to treat diabetes is before it happens! If you’re pre diabetic don’t delude yourself into believing you have time to fix it. There are things already happening that you’ll be paying for, for the rest of your life!
