Many argued, 'yeah, Wrex & Eve are good & all, but they're just two krogans. they've no chance in steering the rest in a different direction'. but then, they also seem to have forgotten that heads of communities, especially those that command genuine respect & awe, are effective opinion leaders. i'd hate to use this as an example, but just look at Hitler. he's possibly the most powerful orator for the past century. his words sway the German population so effectively that they became mostly hateful assholes. with both Wrex & Eve playing such a pivotal role in this whole damn thing, chances are good that their opinions will be the ones that matter, & lucky for the krogan, their opinions are the ones leading the krogan to a brighter, more harmonious future. With that said, with those two aboard, i always go on to cure the genophage. the racist, asshat dalatrass can cram her support up her ass.
I would not go so far as to say that Hitler turned the German populace into 'mostly hateful assholes'. Most Germans of the time were not Nazis, or even necessarily strong supporters of the Nazis. Many Germans were simply swept up in a demand for change and an improvement of their well being, and to see a return of nationalistic pride. To compare with a relatively milder example, a great many Americans supported Trump, but I do not for one minute believe that this makes most Americans mostly hateful arseholes. In the case of Hitler, he was voted in to oppose a disintegrating democratic government when people became fed up with the way things were run, and his promises of change galvanized people into accepting some of his more extreme views. It should be noted that a great many of his more hostile policies entered mainstream Nazi doctrine only after Germany became a dictatorship, at which point the general opinion of the people was very easy to portray as what he wanted them to believe. That said, I think your point about Wrex and Eve is fairly valid.
Mark Salter When i said 'his words sway the German population so effectively that they became mostly hateful assholes.', i was summarizing the process. of course the Germans don't turn into assholes overnight just because someone up there tell them to be asshole, similar with the case with Donald Trump & the US. but as you put it yourself, you just need a powerful push to start getting things moving the way you want it. given that internet didn't exist back then & people can't know any better, the general masses in Germany eventually came to accept all those shit Hitler pulled to be the norm. somehow i sure hope people of the US is resistant enough to avoid turning into an asshole like Trump. That said, the process can work both ways. & i sure hope Wrex & Eve have enough of what it takes to eventually change the Krogan.
From an evolutionary response. Human's and Krogan have pack animal mentality for survival so it will be incredibly easy for Alpha's to control the population. The difference between us and Krogan is that Krogan are much more violent in nature so that there are Alpha's popping up all the time which explains why they are so fractured. Krogan needed an external threat in order to unite them due to their aggression and humanity I always believed needs an external threat in order to unite. And even in the Mass Effect universe, humanity is still technically not united.
There have only been two recorded instances of "women and children first" being implemented when it came to evacuating ships. Two. In the entirety of human history.
Ivy as a Dark Elf Krogan Queen is now the voice actors title in my opinion. She hates Krogan women not having a day and is strong as hell dreaming of fixing windhelms racism with the Grey Quarters and blows off steam by dressing as a provocative older dominatrix that never seems to age.
About damn time there's some talking of gender roles in a game :P I'm sure it's been done, but this is awesome. i always hated like in dragon age where all genders were strangely equal...
The worst thing about this OMG OFFENSIVE THING is that this is a giant lizard woman talking about giant lizard gender dynamics. Why does that bother anyone?
Really!? The question that should be can we ALL treat EACH OTHER with RESPECT, no one side should get any privileges over the other automatically just because a couple of idiots act unruly. At least that's what I believe.
What argument? You weren't making a point. You were trying to obfuscate the issue whereas the rest of us were making rational, evidence-based arguments. I have extensively studied sexism which was why I was able to refute your "women and children first" point. Just because you were proven wrong doesn't mean I'm dismissing you without studying. Kid, don't get into fights when you have no idea how to research or argue your point.
I have seen alot of different subjects being debated as a result of ME3, but Feminism? Bioware achieved debate on Feminism? Really? They're smarter then I thought.

@Jacob St.Clair exactly my thoughts. I support him. I'm Indian BTW.
@@Seriona1 alpha's are bs. The guy who 1st wrote about said as much
Thank you for being the sensible side my friend. Thank the salarians, they too are not all alike
I don't remember Eve coughing so much in my playthrough. Did you destroy the research?
She seems more open to femshep
@BodyDoubleAlarm Yes, they appear to have an allergy to dairy! :o
they told me to cough. I think she was just getting over the Phage or something
maybe in the near future, hopefully before the first contact war.
Thats how to write a female character.
Does Eve have Corona virus I mean she keeps coughing!!!!
Coughing = Eve Dies right?
Eve is awesome.
now that I think about it....CHRIST YOUR RIGHT!
so what did eve join you or can she join you??? or if she lives she joins you and how doe she live?
Hope one day males and females treat each other with respect. One day.
do you think women will evolve to that point?
Bjorick yeah, with mindsets like this, that one day is going to take a long time
@@lilyluu5924 Exactly. Women will take a long time to evolve to that stage.
@@lilyluu5924 and with men, we are already evolved. That's why you women can enjoy everything around you built by men.
@Tseuhadon Insulting? How?
@SartoriusSeven Krogan dont seem to be very physically diverse so its to be expected.
Yes
Why is Eve coughing? Mine didn't cough at all.... What's going on?!?!?!?!?
Guy probably didn't save Maleon's research in ME2.
According to the first comments.
Instead asari just have rampant racism for anyone born "pure-blood."
There have only been two recorded instances of "women and children first" being implemented when it came to evacuating ships. Two. In the entirety of human history.
@m3xicanvoodoo22 I'd say it's light by Krogan standards.
I take it you destroyed Maelon's data? For me she only coughed all the time when I did that.
Prothean. ::)
So now we have a feminist philosophist female krogan who becomes in one scenario a krogan leader...
no, i'm creepy.
@devams1 BECAUSE LIZARDS GIVE ME THE HEEBIE-JEEBIES! (:P)
Ivy as a Dark Elf Krogan Queen is now the voice actors title in my opinion. She hates Krogan women not having a day and is strong as hell dreaming of fixing windhelms racism with the Grey Quarters and blows off steam by dressing as a provocative older dominatrix that never seems to age.
i would have liked to have a female krogan in my squad xD
Eve is my mom
Eve is my bitch.
I didn't know we get offended as quickly as christian mothers...
I have seen alot of different subjects being debated as a result of ME3, but Feminism? Bioware achieved debate on Feminism? Really?
They're smarter then I thought.
600th like
I'd prefer the MaleShep's end dialogue with Eve over this because instead of just praising women she praises all of humanity.
No, you're not. You're full of bullshit because what you're claiming happened never actually happened. The rest of us are citing actual instances of women being systematically discriminated against, and your evidence that men have it worse is to cite a complete fiction.
Fuck off white Knight. What evidence? Bitch I can provide you tons.
I made up that msogynistic opinion.
"The tool is now you, human. " ;)
