Hawkpath1337 What, so just because he's a Krogan he's automatically more prone to picking fights and thinking in terms of who'd win in a fight? You humans are all racist.
Wrex have the best lines in the whole trilogy. Even when he’s not in the main party, Grunt - “Okeer is dead”. Wrex - Of course he is, you’re with Shepard. 😂
Garrus: You're not gonna let us forget about the Rachni words, are you? Wrex: Last time I was on the citadel, I didnt see a Turian Statue in your honor hahahaaaa... yeah, Wrex has the best lines
Wrex's advice to Liara regarding explosions seems almost prophetic when you consider how Liara evolved from shy researcher to badass information broker.
I hate the colors they used for most turian armors in me1. Phoenix was just insulting, Colossus was badass but what's with the flaming red. Mercenary was the best armor in the way it looked, but it was not as good as the Colossus.
He whispers in my ear, *THIS IS MY BITCH* He picks up Ashley with his *POWERFUL KROGAN HANDS* and sets her on her hands and knees. She’s ready..........................
"Anyone who fights us is either stupid, or in Saren's payroll. Killer the latter is business, killing the former is a favor to the universe." "A nice explosion every now and then keeps the mind sharp." Wrex is awesome.
Yeah, I started playing again, n' Tali and Wrex had a little back and forth where he asks her if the Quarians ever talk about what they did with the Geth. She responds sharply, asking him if his people talk about the rebellion and the resulting sterilization of his people. His response, "Yes." That Krogan is the best.
At leasrt unlike Tali at that time, Wrex is highly aware that his people were responsible for the mess they were in. Tali was yet to understand that her people weren't saints about their conflict against the geth. Perspective is such a beautiful thing after all.
and especially the word choice. challenge. too often people think violence is the only form of challenge, but it is not. challenge is good, but that doesn't mean we cant be smart and control the way challenge manifests.
Love how the bit about who'd win in a fight between Kaidan and Shepard comes back in Citadel. Wrex: "Remember how I asked you who'd win in a fight between you and Shepard? You said it was a stupid question, well look at us now. Still think it was a stupid question?" Kaidan: "Was so hoping you'd forgotten about that"
As if you have to ask. I'd beat Shepard bare-handed! Sadly, he's essential to the storyline, so he gets infinite restarts until he finally wins. Thanks, Bioware.
"When you're young, you go looking for every fight you can. You get older, you realize the best fights will find you." That is some of best advice I have ever heard.
I like the fact that Wrex likes Tali. Even though she is likeable and kind there's a sharpness and sassiness. Instead of just answering Wrex' insolent question who would win, she jabs back with another insolent question. XD
Are there any krogan Specters? What about after Sheperd cures the genophage, then Wrex and Eve restore the name of the krogan? A krogan Specter? There's some nightmare fuel.
Wrex is basically Canderous 2.0. Warrior race who lost the last war, super loyal to the main protagonist, takes over his dying warrior race in the sequel.
My favorite conversation was between Wrex and Garrus, Wrex asked him how it felt to be out of C-Sec, Garrus replied that the mission beats being in C-Sec anyday Wrex:"There maybe hope for you yet, Turian..."
but wrex says there are female warrior camps, and through grunt we learn Sheagor was a female warlord. im glad they dropped the women must stay at home idea in the sequals
Selvokaz You can still be a warrior and stay at home. Wrex also talks about using the infertile females as, basically, bullet shields for the fertile ones.
+enjoythestruggle Actually Sheagor was when Genophage began - she used her fertility as a recruitmnent bonus for her army. Later on, the male Krogan would be propably less inclined to allow such a thing - especialy considering what happend to her in the end. Also, I think she was off Tuchanka at that time, judging by the fact she still had spaceships.
There’s a slight modulation to Wrex’s voice in the first two games that’s curiously absent in ME3. Almost Turian-like, but no other Krogan had the same effect...
I love how Wrex seems to acknowledge and be self aware about his traits and mannerisms. He is also much sharper than the other Krogans you meet in the game.
He is quite old, I think and he was one of the only in their generation that killed a Thresher Maw so he can be relaxed about his strength and standing, atleast for a krogan
And this, ladies & gentlemen, is the reason why Wrex is the PURE FREAKING AWESOME made flesh. Wrex's last line is full of real wisdom. Defeats paves the road to Success and pain makes you stronger.
5:00 Wrex: But that still doesn't answer my question. Your visor could easily be transparent and still have the same effect. Tali: ........ Wrex: Well? Tali: Look, I haven't showered since I left the flotilla okay! Wrex: ew.
When I played Mass Effect earlier today for a second time, I never realized how much fun Wrex was. He always gave me a laugh in those elevators or other scenes
Wrex is definitely a lot more bitter and angry in the first game than the grumpy yet loveable Uncle Wrex from ME3. Glad they had him lighten up throughout the trilogy.
"Naturally, anything that isnt constantly challenged goes weak" Yessss I finally found it, I heard it once while playing but then forgot some of the words, I just knew it was awesome lol
"Do Krogan size up everyone for a fight, even friends and allies?"
"Yes."
Freaking Wrex. So blunt.
+Hawkpath1337 He makes it sound like the most normal, reasonable thing, too. "What, you mean you don't?"
ZF12 Well he's a krogan.
Hawkpath1337 What, so just because he's a Krogan he's automatically more prone to picking fights and thinking in terms of who'd win in a fight?
You humans are all racist.
ZF12 It's more that combat and battle are an inherent part of Krogan Culture.
Hawkpath1337 I know, I was making a reference to ME2.

Even Wrex knows what a trailblazer Shepard is.
What could of been;
Shepard: I could have talked him out of fighting.
Wrex: the last guy you did that with put a bullet in his *own* brain...
"I was losing sleep over the prospect of people not loving the turians"
Fuck I love this game
I was losing sleep over Garrus's pink armor.
Fascinating
@@gradius12 Garrus, flustered: IT'S LIGHT RED!
The first time I heard that line from Wrex I started lol 😁
Wrex's advice to Liara regarding explosions seems almost prophetic when you consider how Liara evolved from shy researcher to badass information broker.
"Must be hard Garrus, wearing a pink armor and shit."
it's part of his calibrations.
Joke's on him, Commander Shepard himself/herself can show up on Tuchanka in gaudy pink armor in the next game.
