I'm a fire mage who's recently retired from frost cause I saw ur videos and you kinda showed me that fire was possible in arenas! I went fire, messed around with it a bit then two weeks later played ur combo in 3s, fire/frost/holy, and got 2200! xD Thanks a ton for the videos man, they're suuupper helpful, and I'm sure I speak for many people when I say that.

Hey Hansol. You're probably getting alot of these messages, but i've been watching your vids for 5-6 months now, and i'm amazed at every vid. You're one of the only fire mages i've seen, that can play them as they're supposed to be played. Lots of support here man.

i really hope you read this. This is also handy for other fire mages.
If you reforge your shoulders and cloack into haste and have the 1% haste increase in your arcane talent tree you will have 5% haste (soft cap, 11 combustion ticks). This way you can reforge your headpiece and bracers into crit and gain more crit rating!

Sup Han! You're the main reason why I decided to give a shot at my Fire Mage in pvp and man I love it and don't even know what I'm doing yet! I dunno if you already said that somewhere but could you write a quick step by step guide, nothing fancy, for the shatter combo thing / Combustion setup ? I really want to work on that to feel the Boom in Kaboom :) I always get confused in the action and I don't do the right things at the right moments :(

that was a really nice vid, you make me want to start playing my mage again, everytime someone mentions playing frost as a mage in pvp to me, i link them to your art of combustion video and it definitely changes their mind :D
It means he is using his counterspell while they aren't casting anything for the 4 second silence as opposed to using it while they are casting something for the 7 second lock out. Most times you blanket someone you are trying to buy a few seconds to get a CC off, going for a kill, or something to that nature it's usually a last resort type thing because you can nearly double the time it locks people out if you get them while casting.

@beans6616 its an addon called Doomcooldwon Pulse and the addon that appears when he is stunned is called loose control! both useful for pvp

Hey hansol, im tring Fire Frost Hpally right now but im getting stuck at around 1800-1900 MMR. Any tips for breaking that? Maybe use a priest? Great job on the vid btw

You should have went 20% Crit and a lot of Mastery. Or whatever you felt like which Crit rating you are comfortable with, but you should go reforge everything else to Mastery given that you're hit capped already. If you get a good combustion and spread you can honestly just dance there and they'll just melt. I play in a Private Server. Cause Fire Mage's are sick in Cata 4.3 :D Do you think it's worth to go back on Retail and play Fire there? Please respond, thanks :)

I play fire mage too and those hunters are really tough. If the stun doesn't proc there's really not much that can be done to a hunter to reduce their DPS, disorient if you can get close or sheep if you have time to cast one without being interrupted. If you don't, it's crazy damage all the time and pet even gives spell pushback with it's melee.

After Db you're putting Rof with the edges on top of the targets...why? I've tried using this technique,but DB gets them out of the ring before the ring can freeze anything..isn't better to but the whole ring on top of them? Sorry if it was a dumb question,but it will help me alot

Could you please make a tutorial how to kill every class or most classes. I don't know how to fight a Hunter, DK and a good Rogue. Frost mages can be pretty hard too. I don't how you managed to kil that frost mage with ease. Just thought I'd finish this comment with what you've already been told I'm sure countless times but you are by far the best Fire Mage I've ever seen. Seriously, you've videos blow my mind. Played frost for years, wasn't till after watching your videos that i decided to try fire, its been fun its so different to play but getting used to it. Every time i spec back to frost i have a derp moment because i cant move wile casting. xD
Dude, can you PLEASE tell me what addons you use? Mainly the one that show's what magic effects you have on the target and the silence one. Also, if you could, the one you use in BGs that has everyone's name right there on the screen for you to click to target.

Blanketing means he just counter spells the target to get the 3 second soft silence rather than silence on a spell. It is to create pressure and if done correctly will land a kill.

when you combust you say "bursting and then the name of the target" how did you set it so you say the name of the target umm if that makes sense lol :p anyways awesome vid mayne!

A fire mage can spread the dots, like living bomb, ignite, etc.
You just have to have an impact proc and use it, that will spread it. ;)
