My first real PvP Movie. This time, I actually spent time into editing and finding the best Warlock on the US server to fight. Also dueled one of the greatest experienced Rogues in the battlegroup. Worked hard on this video and hope you guys enjoyed.
I've been getting a lot of requests to make another tutorial which includes basic and very useful macros for pvp, and also how to keybind efficiently to own it up in PvP. Background info:
The duel clips shown was when I had the regular Cataclysmic weapons. The rest of the footage was taken after equiping Elite Tier 2 Weapons. All footage was taken in the month of January.

Bruh. Fire mage in cata, was the absolute best time for mage. I wanna say that I spent like 80% of my in game time during cata. Pvping on my fire mage. The other 20% of the time, was spent BSing around in raid progression on my mains.
My mains were a disc priest, and ele shaman, which I really enjoyed playing aswell. But the second that main raids were called for the night. I'd instantly whiched over to my mage and pvp'd for countless hours.
good old montage, i cna easily come back to watch this day by day, i love you hansol you inspired me to play fire, and now i cant stop playing it.

Hey, Hansol. I just wanted to let you know that you are the biggest inspiration and the reason why I went fire. A lot of people, that I know, tells me to go frost, but frost is so boring and fire so fun. I think I'm talking on behalf of almost every mage in WoW, when I say that fire is more fun than frost. You may have more survivabillity in frost, but in fire you can fire off 3-4 pyro's in one Deep Freeze, and you can run around while casting Scorch. You're the reason why I got in to fire :)
I used to play my mage all the time because he was my first character in wow, this wants me to play him again. The editing, songs, clips were ALL AWESOME! Coming from a DK I love you!
Please, keep these videos coming. You're making my girlfriend and I more and more psyched about getting our dual mages to 85. With RaF, it shouldn't be too much longer.

I really miss this fire playstyle, do you think the new expansion will bring back this old playstyle with the removal of deep freeze?
both the rogue and lock was top notch, excellent job on fighting fighting people that knew what they were doing with their class, and as always anther great vid.

your rogue duels are getting better and better. the lay down of a ring of frost just before the shadow step was epic, to bad you lost that duel. However if the rogue had used cloak twice you would have most likely died and the only blind i saw was at the very end of a duel where he died 1 second later.
i do have a question though, in the first shatter combo you scorched and fire blasted, however i saw an ice lance animation hit the target also, is it a trinket or does something not have a GCD?

You use simple but fitting effects in this video, which is huge plus another good thing is use of music: It's one of the best soundtrack I've heard in pvp video, also I liked when you embed the wow sounds with the music. Gj!

There are a handful of guys in Dara that are, well pricks to put it bluntly. I have had the pleasure of talking and playing with Hansol he is a cool guy and a good Mage. I don't play a Mage anymore but I hope you get to 500 for those that do and need help binding and coming up with macros.

Hansol vs Acrobatics is probable the best duel i have ever seen.
I cant find one of my most favorite videos that you uploaded to youtube. It was during the deathwing xpac, right after they first buffed fire mages finally. You uploaded an awesome video with awesome music to it. It started out with you slowfalling in AV battleground than also had some other bg's plus a few duels with a rogue and a boomy. can you tell me the url, or if it exhists anymore?? tyvm i greatly appreciate it!!
@kickazs94 Hi kickazs94, I suggest you level as Frost because it is the easiest and most efficient. I'm not the type of guy that goes the easy route but a lot of people are like that nowadays. If you want to get past the boring leveling, rush it as Frost then switch to Fire if you want to try it out at 85 and start gearing. I'd even say maybe switch Fire at 80 so you can experience it for 5 levels and get the basic feel for it instead of having a big learning curve instantly at 85. Gl and hf!

Leveled my mage to 70 because of you. Fire/frost...for block xD Best mage in my opinion because of content.
Get the shatter spec from the frost tree, then when you get that, get someone in a frost nova, or cone of cold (if you have the improved cone of could which freezes them in place) then when theyre frozen cast scorch followed with a fireblast immediately after. That will give you your hot streak proc.

Hansol what would you suggest i lvl my mage as? fire frost or arcane. BTW amazing vids subbed for your combustion clips

How much stress do you put on changing your shield and applying mana shield/mage ward, i have a similar play-style but im not as good with my rings of frost and surviving, really good video, i could learn alot from this

Do you play normally, but the fact that man, I understand you do not need to buy additional accessories, the undead but looks much better than the person running it and the animation is the best in the Islands, especially if you play a mage, who agrees with me Like
I play both frost and fire really good but frost got boring so im sticking with Fire in the distant future. The thing is i roll 6/32/3 instead of usual going fire/frost because i really dont want to play the freeze and crit style..im more of a dot up and kite/run person (thus i specced Improved blink). my question is do use Molten Armor in general pvp (for extra 5% crit) or Mage Armor / Frost Armor combo depending on enemy?
