Reading some of these comments it's great to see you still keep tabs on this channel. You were so influential to me as a teenager and I still appreciate your videos even more so now. Not only were you a skilled mage, the videos themselves were well edited and extremely entertaining. You have a wide and great taste in music that perfectly fit well into each videos theme. So glad you added the original song names in the description on each one too. It's a little annoying now with copyright laws finding the old songs to sync with your videos, but it's well worth it. One of the few talented WoW youtubers way ahead of his time.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write this comment. I'm glad you enjoyed the videos so much, I remember the very first one I made using window movie maker and fraps... It was before montages were even really a big thing to do. A buddy of mine had made a really short video of his rogue and I sort of just followed the idea and added in my own spins along the way. I was obviously always inspired by other huge PvPer's like Vurtne and Wowking and other people who took things to the next level. I definitely wanted to keep the original song names because I always spent a lot of time trying to build my videos around the original songs and not the ones that I had swap out... it didn't take youtube long to claim every single one of my videos for the ad revenue but it's all good... I always just did this for the fun of it anyways. Gaming has sure come a long way, I'm glad I can be part of your nostalgia. Hope all is well with you, loved your message.

Yeah just to update, I did resub to WoW a couple days ago. My gear is from season 12 so I won't be able to make any interesting content until i get some more gear. Thank you Spazzo! My goal with making videos in WoW was always to entertain and it was also a good outlet for a little creativity. It's crazy seeing all the big content creators nowadays. I'm glad you got so much enjoyment out of them and I appreciate your well-wishes. I'm doing well these days, just working a salary job and I still game quite a bit actually. Most recently I've played a lot of Lost Ark and a little Path of Exile on the side. Hope you're doing well too, we're the best generation of gamers that's for sure o/

You try doing something like that 1v4 you are good at writing but try doing it your self, imagine the pressure he was in, his editing and gameplay are pro, your just a noob.

Hey man, thanks for the question. In case anyone is wondering i use Fraps to record all of my footage, then i use Sony vegas 9 to edit the video clips. I don't use any fancy programs like After effects or particle illusion because editing is not really my passion so i haven't taken the time to learn all that. Oh i forgot, i have actually used model viewer a couple times but you don't really need that unless you're getting super serious about it.
The song + gameplay was so f***ing nostalgic.
And this kids is how the horde finally conquered the alliance for good.

I've been using Celldweller songs and remixes for years now. The song that Cobrak and I used was a song from a remix competition that Celldweller (klayton) held on his Fixt music website. There are a ton of people who have used it. I don't think it matters who uses the song as long as it's used with entertaining content. I didn't actually know who Cobrak was until people like you came on here to tell me about him, since then Cobrak and I have become acquaintances.
You sir introduced me to the music genre that Celldweller and Blue Stahli represent.

Out of all the Wow Mage videos ive watched, this video is hands down one of the best in terms of entertainment
The 1 vs 2 mages was the most amasing fight i´ve seen.
Interrupt bar shows counterspell and kick cooldowns (you can see it on the bottom right of my screen when i'm fighting and someone uses a kick/lockout) Spell alerter tells me when a really important spell was used around me. Such as pally Bubble, Natures swiftness, Elemental mastery etc. Tiptac is just the tooltip bar that pops up when i hover over someone.
True, yeah the most important thing is that you try to build the action in the video around the music as much as possible.
Haven't played WoW since WotLK, but still watching your vids...

Thanks for the kind words. I will be playing MoP, in fact i've been messing around with the latest patch a little bit. I have tried both fire and frost and i prefer frost overall just because the burst potential is off the hook right now. I will have to wait until level 90 to test it out fully. I would say overall i'm not too stoked about the changes but i can definitely work with them no problem. I feel like they took some mobility and control and gave it all to fire.
It's 2023 and im just now noticing a death knight and warrior going nuts on your mirror images while you tee off on a shaman lol!

8:52 , in this clip we watch the wild mage in it's natural habitat, the arena. As we watch the wild mage go about its business two wild mages spark a fight! Its a bloody, ferocious battle but in the end.. the alpha mage asserts his dominance over the weaker, more foolish mages.
Once people get geared up and some of pvp balancing patch comes out i will make a new one. The game has been super broken so i was wanting things to settle down before i release a serious video.

Yeah i'm sorry i don't release a ton of video content it's pretty much a one man show here with the editing and all that. It's a lot of effort that takes a bit of inspiration for me to start doing hehe.

It is the right name xD Blue Stahli - Metamorphosis (Cut Away Everything ReMix by TweakerRay) is the exact place where you can find Tweakerrays video if you search it. I just didn't have cut away everything in the title until today.
As i recall correctly, it should have been Filovirus's alt. I was watching some of his ques and rbg's last year on this particular character.

I think he is talking about when Mercader will solo 5 people, but one at a time. He is in the arena and faces five separate people one after the other in the same arena.

Don't worry about people hating. If they nerf mages and make them harder to play then of course a lot of people will stop playing them. They will roll flavor of the month. But mages like me who have played the mage since classic through thick and thin will still remain. Because in the end, it doesn't matter if your class is overpowered or not, it's whether or not you can play the class to its full potential.
i use to love when people bitched as i entered a dungeon as frost and exited on the top of the charts....I love fire spec too but frost is like toying with your prey and killing them afterwards.
Not all addons are cosmentic. Some will display diminishing returns, or even the cooldowns of every every ability your opponent uses.
