- This week we went on a life changing adventure with the United States Marine Corps! #Ad Grace spent 4 days training, learning and understanding the challenges Marines must overcome on a daily basis! This once in a lifetime opportunity tested her mentally and physically to see if she could overcome her own mental barriers! Huge Thank you to the US Marines, Combat Engineers and Grace's Fireteam 3 - LCpl Spencer, LCpl Tejada-Molina and LCpl Cervantes for an incredible week!

I served as a Combat Engineer at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point. About an hour north of Lejune. I’m glad you enjoyed it and I’m glad you learned something about yourself because I’ve done everything you did and I know how hard it can be.

I was so excited and the emotions were sooo real, I got to the end and that’s when emotionally I snapped, I was so grateful for the experience and reflecting on how just a few days could change me the way it did! Thank you for to your friends and family for keeping us safe!

Happy veterans day! I always love seeing creators go and train with the Marines it's inspiring, and I'm biased anyway my dad served in the Marines for 20+ years.

This has got to be my favorite episode. You rock!!! You seem like you descovered in 5 days why we call other Veterans our brothers and sisters. I am surprised and proud that you agreed, completed, and killed this challenge. How different our world would be if in order to graduate high school you had to go through a 1 to 2 week boot camp. Or you could not become a politician with out having served our country for no less than 3 years.

Oh Grace, you describing that explosion reminds me of hand grenades. As far away as you can throw it, the explosion shakes the ground a little and the pressure wave is noticeable.

I wish they would promote the coarse as intended. I understand they are civilians however the true challenge and test comes from the real experience.
Side note: Glad you got to experience the stress levels and adrenaline. Testing ones self ability is always a great thing! Going beyond your knowledge or skill makes someone feel amazing at the end!

The marine corps was founded on November 10, 1775 in tun tavern Philadelphia Pennsylvania by the second continental congress
Another fun fact. The birthday they celebrate is from the date of what was called the Continental Marines. It was formed on Nov 10, 1775. That was disbanded for 15 years until a branch from the Navy was established on July 11, 1798 and named the United States Marines. It was later decided to celebrate their birthday from the November 10th date.

I'll be completely honest I've been asking around for a legitimate test after I've seen multiple creators on here claiming they can create gas by distilling random plastic bottles using incredibly crude apparatus like a basic looking pressure pot and plastic hosepipes

At first I thought it was kind of weird I was thinking “why would the Marines reach out to her?” But then I spent five seconds thinking and realized that they need to do everything they can to get young people invested, especially with the record low recruitment numbers. Yikes.😬
