Troll for Pike to Beat the Afternoon Grind! Lake of The Woods

Take a break from casting for muskies and northern pike by trolling. Trolling gives you a mental and physical break from the casting grind, plus every time the clicker goes off you don't know what you have - not the same thrill as a follow from a big muskie, but still a pretty good rush! I'm fishing in a clearwater basin of Lake of the Woods that contains some giant muskies - a bit of a stretch to see or hook any casting on a clear, sunny afternoon, so trolling probably does up the odds of an encounter. Nothing wrong with the odd nice pike setting off the clicker!
