- Jigging for late fall musky and northern pike near Kenora in northwestern Ontario using Bondy Bait and Musky Innovations Titan Tube.
A few techniques were explored, such as casting and trolling, but this helped me to eventually focus on a jigging pattern that paid off when there was some windblown current. With water temperatures in the 40s on the surface and ciscoes all over the water column during low light periods, the key was scouting for balls of ciscoes where they could be found shallow in the day - this typically occurred where there was some current meeting structural elements - shady spots from trees/cliffs or deep ledges seem to be always worth a look. The predators could often been found lurking under and to the side of these balls. I had a fair bit more action action than depicted - many follows while jigging and a few lost fish that would have been nice to have been boated, but exciting action nonetheless.
* apologies for the audio clicks, likely issue with case the GoPro enclosed in. No case for next year with a different unit...

That was Way Cool" Cheers from "Tiger's Only" Idaho!
Thanks for watching. Love seeing tigers, there's the odd natural hybrid where we fish - it's too bad they are not big on following!
Great video
Nice to see someone catching I seem to be the master of the blanks recently 😆
Yeah, I hear you, been there. The blanks make the ones you get all the more rewarding.
@@TheAnglingOracle that is very true I need to get my lure selection sorted now for the winter the fish seem to be sitting much deeper. Tight lines
