I can so much understand not wanting to start Three houses yet... because you may be in for the long haul when you will start it. (first playthrough, 70+h, seeing the other two paths, 150+h )

Utawarerumono is really good. It's pretty close to a visual novel (only like 25% is actual gameplay, the rest is visual novel) but it has one of my favorite stories in JRPGs
@@TheKisekiNut A thing to note about Utawarerumono 1 is that it takes a long time to get going...In fact these games sort of have a thing similar to Trails going on where there are long stretches of time that serve as setup like the first Trails game each ark. By the third game though this is one of the best stories out there. On a personal note, I can also highly reccomend Crosscode. Probably one of my favourite games mechanically speaking.
Cross code was an amazing game (got very stumped on a few puzzles in the game tho lol) at the time i finished it, there was no post game. i should get back to it since ive heard they added quite a bit more stuff. Great video as always!

I loving my Altina figure, I have her on my PC desk, in front of one of the PC screen. I am surprised the size of the box, I would thought it is be the same size as Rean box. I order it from ami ami which didn't come with the face change, which is a shame. I think you will love Bravely Default 2, it is a great JRPG game.
I definitely prefer playing RPGs on Switch, at least compared to other consoles. Glad you're enjoying it! I'm not one to collect figures but these Trails ones are tempting

It's disappointing based on the price, and I decided to pick up one from Pin Box when I was preordering the new SSS pins recently. I'm so thankful for what Pin Box is doing because their shirts are so soft. Comfort is everything! 🤣
Ain't that the truth, Mags. I was shocked really because the Rean shirt I got from them when CS3 released was perfect. Good print quality, comfortable so I was confident it would be more of the same. Unfortunately not, and considering the price I'd rather not do it again. PinBox on the other hand I've bought 3 shirts from and they're all excellent.

Three Houses is a great game from a gameplay perspective. Some people don't like the characters and story not. Utawaremono will be a lot of reading with rather few gameplay sections. I got the Altina figure too but I'm disappointed. Not in terms of quality but something doesn't feel right to me.
I don't mind about the story in Fire Emblem games too much. As long as it's competent that's all that matters. And I'm no stranger to visual novels, so I think Utawarerumono will be right up my alley.
well, here in canada, one vinyl cost around 40 cad without tax or with tax, 47 cad. thats around 40 us with tax and probably 35 pounds. 3*35 pounds = 105 pounds. so for 3 vinyl, its not that high of a price, but still, the package is indeed cheap. When you buy a package deal, you hope to have a certain quality, it indeed seems absent here.
Random question, are there guides for getting the kiseki spreadsheets to work? I've never used one before, is it essentially an overlay or are you literally just reading from an excel spreadsheet at queue'd points?
The Zerofield site will have a video by February Night on how to set it up. It guides you through both methods you can use, either capture card or PS Remote Play.

I believe the guide is mostly similar when applied to the PC version, but I imagine you'll just need to download the overlay and then smack it straight on top of your game session instead of using a capture card or remote play. Not entirely sure though. What I will say though is that if you're considering the PC version of Reverie from CLE, it might not be worth it, it's apparently not optimised too well.
I'm so jealous. I pre-ordered the Rean statue but haven't received it yet. The action pose and detail is amazing. And you mentioned Valimar. I know Good Smile announced a Valimar Moderoid (buildable model). We're you referring to that? Or something else? As for Switch games.....great choices so far. I would also highly recommend Xenoblade Chronicles Definitve Edition. I played the original on the Wii and it's one of the best games I ever played. The Definitive Edition really is beautiful.
I bought Definitive Edition a while back, so that was part of another merch round up! The Valimar figure is indeed what you think it is - the moderoid line. However there is also a third figure on the way that is yet to be revealed.
I recently had a new friend join our discord group. he is also a huge Trails Fan and already had the Figures of Rean and Altina. They look really good, but I sadly have no space for them or the money. 3H is a great game that I'm sure you'll like. Just make sure to take breaks in between the routes, because it's very easy to get burnt out. The game is long and you will have to play the entire first half of the game at least 4 times to get to the actual story of your chosen route. I have only finished 1 route so far myself, but I hope I can play the others in the future at some point. I'm also still playing Pokemon and am trying to get ready for the Pokemon league in Sinnoh. Haven't started Arceus yet.
Sucks my Altina figure pre-order got canceled by the seller. Will probably cancel my Rean one too. Honestly might be better cause my wife is due for our baby in April lol

I highly recommend unsighted if you enjoy cross code. Somewhat similar as well as doing the 2d zelda loop that has an npc timer mechanic where if they run out of time. They die. Made by two Brazilian girls and released last year!
Everything looks really cool; I hope any good company releases Adol down the line, if possible in his classic outfit. At this point I'd settle for a Nendoroid, though that's far from my first choice.
Got an Altina Shirt from the EU NISA Store about a year ago and it is so confortable to wear. Feels good on the skin and the print lasts unchanged so far. Sucks to hear that you weren't so lucky.
Indeed - the Rean shirt I got back with the CS3 release was good. So I was shocked when this shirt arrived in the condition it did. With Pinbox though I've bought 3 shirts and they're all perfect, not to mention cheaper. So I'll stick with them.
Love the merch unbox/showcase video. I also bought Altina with the special face for extra but that smiling face is absolutely worth going for. She looks very happy and so do I when I look at her smiling face. I do wish Falcom makes more of scaled figures. We have like over 100 characters in the series and there are only 3 have been released so far, I think. What a very disappointing moment to be a fan with only a few merchs out there to be collected. Honestly, I think Falcom is underestimating the amount of fanbase overseas and their love for the series. Look at Ryza for example. She has like 10 figures made already and the game was only 2-3 years old.
Cross Code is awesome! Playing the DLC right now as a palette cleanser between Cold Steel 1 and 2, currently at about 90 hours total playtime. The quality is super high for an indie game, and the characters are relentlessly charming. Probably my favorite action RPG not named Ys VIII.
The Altina figure looks great for sure. I picked it up myself and couldn't be happier. I did pass on the rean figure since I was a bit iffy on how he looks, glad you like it though! I hope you enjoy Utawarerumono when you get around to it. In terms of story, it's one of my favorites of all time (gameplay serves it's purpose and is okay). Thanks for sharing!
absolutely worth the wait ❤️ it's a bummer that I couldn't get it out on time otherwise you had something else to share for the video 😅 (I wanted to give you something for your own collection as well) as for the OST considering the price they need to step up their game for the next one all the additional goodies give a real low quality impression which is a bummer honestly Altina really looks stunning ❤️ I'm so glad I got her myself for Rean however I found a little nitpick and that is the sheath of his Tachi if you look at them side by side you can see they don't match in terms of size the sheath is way to short to fit the blade however it was really a fun video to watch and your package is on it's way in the coming days (my hope is to get it out by tomorrow)

Love those Rean and Altina figures. I've been trying to get them for a couple months now but I've had to go through US sites and they keep getting either delayed or cancelled.
If you ever get annoyed with America sites, I would recommend using a proxy site. Or use Solaris Japan/ Ami Ami. I'm based in the UK and I've never had a problem with either. Ami Ami in the case of the Rean figure got it to me like 3 days after it released.

I'm pretty certain they're starting to realise the pull of their games in the West, they acknowledged as much in the shareholder meeting.
