One of my favourite movies, a classic
IT'S SHOWTIME!!!!!! I've been looking forward to this for so long. I hope Mansoor get to see this when he's back, the poor guy needs to know not all ghost movies are like Hereditary or The Conjuring. I wonder if Naveed will recognise Michael.
Notice the music, you'll see this man's name in almost every Tim Burton movie, that man is Danny Elfman, and he has some of the most instantly recognizable music in movies, very excellent musician. Very different music style than John Williams, who is the best of the best in my opinion, you'll hear John's music in almost every Steven Spielberg movie.
Also Jerry RIP
Well, John Williams went to war, came home, became a concert pianist, had a postgraduate education in music, and launched a career as an orchestrator. Danny Elfman grew up watching mid-century B-movie sci-fi flicks, was rejected from his high school orchestra, discovered jazz, joined a circus of musical theatre, went busking around Africa collecting drums, and then formed what would become the band Oingo Boingo. He didn't start writing scores for movies until Tim Burton grabbed him to do the score for Pee Wee's Big Adventure. You can say they're a bit different.
I love the bit when he lifts Barbara's dress up with the stick and he has a look up her dress.
16:57 to 17:03 LOL makes me laugh everytime that part.
Michael Keaton is a legend
I live just a few miles from East Corinth, Vermont where this was filmed. (The town of Winter River, Connecticut is fictional) The cast & crew were back last year to film the sequel.
Love this movie, love my state and love you guys, Naveed & Abdul! ❤
If you ever get to Vermont, I volunteer to be your tour guide!
The way they looked at each other at the start of the famous dance scene, lol!
Another excellent spooky film is "Sleepy Hollow". It's got Johnny Depp in it who is a master of the weird and spooky. This was really fun watching with you two. Thanks for sharing :)
Although I liked Sleepy Hollow, I doubt that it's Cinephiles material. No wonder they've skipped Braveheart! Edward Scissorhands would be the better Burton film option with its more understandable and gripping storyline!
_The Frighteners_ would be a good one for them to react to as well.
@@jettser17UKWhy would Sleepy Hollow not be for them?
@@Buckaroo_Baldwin The only real issue is the actual Whodunit plot can get lost in it's web of entanglements, deception, side characters, and it gets too hard to follow to the point where when the villain is revealed it needs to explain itself for 4 minutes because it isn't obvious at all why it would be that person. It makes sense and it's kind of cool but definitely it gets lost in the actual Headless Horsemen mystery. Apart from that, it's really the only major issue about it.
@@jettser17UK No it's actually very easy to follow, and they've been able to follow other movies with more intricacies in the plot easy as pie. So I think they'll be fine.
Another early Tim Burton similar to Beetlejuice is Pee-wee's Big Adventure, which stars the wonderful Paul Reubens RIP. Id also recommend Tim Burtons Big Fish that's been mentioned, that's more of a family heartfelt film. Also agree with What Dreams May Come with Robin Williams RIP, a beautiful and emotional movie.
Love love love Michael Keaton
*Please watch WHAT DREAMS MAY COME with the famous actors Robin Williams and Cuba Gooding Jr.*
Great reaction guys. Delighted that you loved Michael Keaton. He did a wonderful comedy that I highly recommend called “Multiplicity.” He is a working father who never has enough time in the day for work and family. So he gets a scientist to “Clone” him. Highly recommend this movie for you.
Great movie! A classic
The Beetlegeuse name is a matter of language and part of the joke.
Old-school Germanic.
If others cannot figure out how to say it, they cannot summon him.
actually Beetlegeuse comes from a pronunciation of the star Betelgeuse. The name of the star comes from the Arabic Yad al-Jawzā’ "the hand of al-Jawzā’ which was misread by Europeans in the 13th century as bat al-jawzāʾ, which means “the giant's shoulder.”
@@toomanyaccounts Thank you for the correction - my apologies.
My last point still stands, though, so give me that, lol
If others cannot figure out how to say it, they cannot summon him.
Awesome reaction of my favorite movie!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊
Same here!
Michael Keaton s 1st. movie was 'NIGHT SHIFT ' ODD COMEDY with Henry Winkler (the Fonz from
Happy Days tv.) & Shelia Long (from Cheers tv.)
It takes place in the
City Morgue.
Lydia is Winona Ryder!!!❤
The song they were singing around the table is called the Banana Boat song by Harry Belafonte.
And it is a work song about dock workers loading bananas onto boats at night.
You guys should watch another classic film by Tim Burton
“Big Fish” (2013)
It’s a film about fathers and sons.
I think you’ll both strongly identify with the film and be moved by it.
GhostBusters (1984)
Great reaction guys - Beetlejuice is a modern classic, great fun!
Naveed thinks the couple that drowned in the beginning are alive again but they aren't. They are still dead but now coexist with the family that owns their house.
One of Americans favorite
Part 2 will be out this year.
With most of the original cast returning.👍
Hey Naveed and Hameed I'm so sorry I missed this upload This is my favorite childhood maybe I'll be sure to check your channel everyday because I'm not getting notifications Love you guys keep up the great work! 🎉

Great reaction guys! Please react to Edward Scissohands and the original Scream!
Guys, this year 2024 there is a sequel (called Beetlejuice Beetlejuice) incoming after 36 years and it has mostly the same actors 😁
You also should know that Beetlejuice is played by actor Michael Keaton (the most famous Batman).
Michael Keaton IS BEETLEJUICE!!😂😂
Pee Wee Herman's Big Adventure is by the same director .
Just in time for Beetlejuice 2
Great movie, can't go wrong with any Tim Burton film!
Loved this reaction 😂
Michael keaton is a star. He was in batman
Michael Keaton is a wonderful actor, I'm sure they would enjoy him as Batman in the movie of the same name.
❤
They've already seen the Burton Batman's.
Yaayyyyyyyy💖😸💖😸
Michael Keaton is really good. His run of movies in the 80's was a truly great run... starting with Night Shift (1982), Mr. Mom (1983), Johnny Dangerously (1984), Gung Ho (1986). Cheers!
Great reaction naveed and abdul🐞🐞🐞🐞such a quirky movie👻👻👻👻❤
Thanks for showing this, it was fun, could you show The Naked Gun with Leslie Nielson 🙂
Noted
@@Cinephilesreact786 Thanks 🙂
So Tim Burton is very famous for directing strange movies that at first look you think its suppose to be scary or sad. A movie about young people dying and becoming ghost. Instead he always finds a way to make super natural to be fun, whimsical and even heart warming at times. Even Betlejuice who is the villain is not pure evil as he did fulfill his promise to help but tried to take advantage of situation.
Edwards Scissorhands!
Thanks for reacting to this movie. I had forgotten how funny it is😅

Could you please use English subtitles for when the guys are speaking? I have a hard time knowing what they are saying with their thick accents, I also have a sensory processing disorder so it’s easier for me to follow along with subtitles! Keep up the great work! I hope you guys will react to the new Beatlejuice movie when it comes out!
You can turn on the youtube CC option
