This is very interesting! I love watching your videos especially TURD(the one robot that sweeps that gets stuck on the vent/rice and gets kicked across the room) haha. Keep doing what you’re doing!
Maybe for the next video. Do a rice test with the older 500 series roomba with all the other robots. Pro and cons of the older Roomba vs the newer roomba. Or something similar 🙂

Am I the only one that has noticed The I7s clean base's suction has been toned down??? Mine does that too! I contacted iRobot about this and they are sending me a new one. Now after seeing this, I feel like it is supposed to do that. I'm wondering if it's a firmware bug in the clean base. I also have the S9 and it's base sounds like it should. Also with the S9's update, I noticed it navigates a little smarter and quicker. Great videos as always. I like seeing these tests. Especially on the newest robots.

How full was your bag? I suspect that as the bag fills, the increased resistance triggers a “clog clear” type suction pattern. My S9 clean base started doing this but the bag is so full that I’m shocked every time it empties successfully without sending me a “full bag” alert.
@@michaelwallach4352 it was almost empty. I sold my I7 since writing this comment. I actually just changed out my S9 bag and it was packed full and did not do this. I suspect it’s a firmware bug with the I7’s clean base.
@@Wacko_5.0 that could be. Mine stopped doing it and I still haven’t changed the bag. It’s so so full too. I’m crazy impressed by how much those things hold.

I’ve been wanting a robot vacuum for quite a while. I don’t need it to mop. And you tell me if there is a roborock that does not mop. Just a good thorough vacuum. I can mop it myself. Please let me know your opinion

Wasnt sure where to post this but, I have the T8+. Mine also had a tendency for larger item in my case 1/4 size or so cat food , to be pushed around on hardwood floors and finally flick it off when it changed directions and not suck it up. I found underneath infront of the roller , were the rubber guides . The cat food got stuck in front, just dragging them around. I taped each o these flaps inwards to rectify the issue. Now you can hear is getting sucked up like rocks. Not sure yet if this solution affects anything else, If the rollers go backwards it should not affect any other thing im guessing. Havent tried jelly beans, they are to delicious to waste

I've got the T8 and i cannot figure out why the bin is having issues after a few months i get the error message when it tries to empty. The bag is no where near full, the filter is replaced, and there are no clogs in the system. Any suggestions?

I had the same issue then realised I put the bag in the auto station incorrectly. The arrow on the bag needs to be facing down
does the t8 app tell you when main bin is full so you can change bag?
No. Only the roombas have the sensor.
I have the DEEBOT t8 aivi and yes it tells you when the bag is full in the auto station
S9+ definitely wins but at almost 3x the price of the T8+ (when best buy was running the T8+ with auto empty station for $450), I dont think its the best price to performance. Plus the T8+ has active object avoidance and mopping with the optional ozmo pro mopping attachment, its hands down the best for your money
Yes the $449 price best buy had was an absolute insane deal. For $449 there is nothing that even comes close to the t8+
But can it mop an entire first floor very well? I think iRobot’s two robot system for vacuuming and mopping makes far more sense for performance.

@@AdamsReviews hm a 1 v 1 against the roomba i7+. I've noticed some slight issues with the t8+ for example it has issues finding the base, also on shaggy carpet it tends to get confused. Since black Friday is coming up and most people will be keeping an eye on those 2, I think a 1v1 is a decent idea
I am going with deebot definitely. It seems to be the best bang for the buck

I would say so since it self empties...I prefer the i7 or s9 by a little.

The S9 does not automatically turn on max suction on carpet. It ramps up the suction, yes, but not to the max level. The only way to do that is to select “custom clean” and slide it over to max.
totally agree, ecovacs are smarter basically... I used both and s9 has more power but way less smart than ecovacs, the s9 took two days to map the house while the ecovac did it in just about 2 hours and theres other things where ecovacs just go ahead
Deebot is best overall vacuum.

This is a comment that I could stop myself from posting; if you are comparing some products head to head, you should not say which one is better during the process of comparison at all. What you might be true indeed, but this video is meant to demonstrate the capabilities of the 3 robots, not your particular comments that you made ahead of each test.
