I know everyone is sold on the Roomba, but my OCD HATES the random lines it leaves! If I came home to my carpet looking the way the Shark did it, I'd swear my mom broke in and cleaned my house! lol! It even looks like it smells cleaner. On a side note, I know this would be a selling point if I had kids. "I'm about to release the Shark!! Ya'll better pick up your toys or else it's gonna get destroyed by the Jaws!" 😆 I can't be the only one who thought this??
To be fair Shark says items 2.5’ tall are detectable, obviously it’s not going to see a piece of poop or a phone cord. Also Shark seems to have a better vacuum pattern hardly a spot missed, roomba is just all over the place.
I have noticed the shark vacuum cleans professionally with lines and roomba looks like a 2 year old cleaned with no professional lines with shark just pick up your shit and pay less
I'm confused why some people are hyping over the Roomba.. it keeps smashing into the wall, it's slow, doesn't seem to know which direction it wants to go (leaving bad lines on the carpet), it isn't bagless, stays about 2 feet away from small objects, and it is more expensive!
I don't have any pets, and when I did have a pet, I had a dog door (so never poop in the house). But... I don't have a dog, and I think the shark didd a much better job, and seeing how the shark is about half the cost. I think it's lidar mapping system is much better than Roomba. I do leave showes on the floor after I come in the house and it seems it will pretty much avoid those. Shark for the win.
I was just thinking of this the other day, why won't Roomba just add lidar already? Then they'll have the absolute best cleaning out there with the dual rollers, navigation, and incredible obstacle avoidance.
btw, I am simply amazed to see so many houses seem to have dog poop on the floor... don't they get to poop outside or house trained? I don't think my robot vacuum will ever get to 'clean' any dog poop. Dog 'throw-ups' maybe.. Seriously, is poop on the floor common?
Idk i would still go with shark just for the price and the bagless dust bin i have the shark vacmop and it does great i wouldn't mind a version tht has a self empty dust bin
Just bought the J7+, a week ago I wouldn't look at it because it's expensive, was looking to save some money so I was hoping to get a Shark, my sister-in-law's shark ran over a dead bird her cat dragged in and chewed it up and put blood and feathers all over the floor and rugs. Not to mention the mess inside a $600 vacuum. So hearing that I bought the J7+ WOW it's amazing and gets almost everything once it makes a map. I don't usually buy high end stuff (cheap) but I'll replace this vacuum with the next model Roomba for sure.
my J7 plus is not showing obstacles in the app after a run, in the area that they should appear it says "something went wrong" I have rebooted several times as well as doing 3 factory resets to no avail, any ideas?
But this was irobots first object avoidance robot and they nailed it. It was also sharks first time as well and it did awful job. Just another robot that claims to be better at half the price and just is not.
@@lakem0nst3r58 again shark never pushed it as avoidance robot not its main sale point. Logic would dictate it would have a camera and don't think this ever said so but might be wrong. Irobot vacumms have had cameras for years and now it only has avodinace
shark AI is not advertised as obstacle avoidance - the AI is just LIDAR navigation. So this comparison is not really fair. plus price difference between then is like 200 bucks

You don't have OCD
You have absolutely no proof of that
yea you dont have any proof
@@AngryBroccoliRecipesVegan Because you’re an online psychologist? 😭
If you had ocd you would be vacuuming yourself
Wow the shark moves objects to the side so it can vacuum underneath? I'm sold! Add to cart!
Unless that is dog poop lol then it will spread that like butter all over the place lol
@@jdambri1 Why in the world would you have dog poop laying on your floor?
@@joeglennaz Because dogs have accidents in the house and this can really happen
So let me get this straight. If I'm lazy, and don't want to pick up the crap on the floor, I should buy the Roomba?
To be fair Shark says items 2.5’ tall are detectable, obviously it’s not going to see a piece of poop or a phone cord. Also Shark seems to have a better vacuum pattern hardly a spot missed, roomba is just all over the place.

well thats because its plowing through everything...the roomba is avoiding it all.
@@AdamsReviews I know it's avoiding stuff but it doesn't seem to clean with professional lines
@@AdamsReviews well that is good if it plowing through stuff because people need to move there shit

Winner!.....and still running. Lidar with avoidance will rule.

Shit happens! 😂
Yes. 2 kids. Dog has an accident. You don’t see it because he ate your kids food and boom. Roomba runs it over. Literally poop everywhere. 😢
My 3 year old boxer would prefer to explode before she pooped on my floor. Now my new 8 week old puppy is a different story.
This is what made me buy the shark and I love it
Idk i would still go with shark just for the price and the bagless dust bin i have the shark vacmop and it does great i wouldn't mind a version tht has a self empty dust bin
the shark looks so fast like scary fast even. makes me want that one
i have irobot i7+ and it isnt working like this video
💀💀💀 The vacuum at the bottom bulldozing through the charger cord. 😂😂
It would be nice to see an additional comparison of the other "obstacle avoidance" bots, like the roborock max-v and any others?
Neabot Q11 and Dreame Z10 are the others I'd love to see an updated obstacle test for!

There’s no way lol I sold my roombas on eBay for 150 each they are loud and they didn’t clean good
this is making me laugh. I am the shark vacuum.
Im confused!! Who is the winner??? I don't want one to runover things on the floor, especially cords or possible dog poo poo!
They need a robot that can detect dog crap and piss on floor to avoid going through the crap and piss
my J7 plus is not showing obstacles in the app after a run, in the area that they should appear it says "something went wrong" I have rebooted several times as well as doing 3 factory resets to no avail, any ideas?
Ok roomba avoided objects better but shark did a better more uniformed vacumming. Shark was never sold as a avoidances vacumm, next version
But this was irobots first object avoidance robot and they nailed it. It was also sharks first time as well and it did awful job. Just another robot that claims to be better at half the price and just is not.
it cleans good...but they should not put on the box that it had object avoidance at all.

And as i know it only works on sold formed poops, diarrhea will still be smeared every place it goes, roll right over it.
@@kinglord5429 I get ads on youtube showing the lidar identifying objects with the Shark, seems misleading to me.
Ok. Try that in the dark. See how well the Roomba does. It will return to the base and quit.
Awesome, thanks for this! Definitely crossing shark off the maybe list.
Roomba smacks hard into the walls.. my shark doesnt at all...shark all day.

it actually says it on the box.
Was looking at the shark for a Black Friday purchase but I think I’ll pass now 🤣🤣
Keep USB cords and pets that crap on the floor a lot?
Eufy X8 hybrid or J7 none plus.
J7. I feel like the eufy x8 is kinda a gimmick.
A video proving that Shark LOVES to ripoff people. Shark AI Gauntlet? Romba J7 Gauntlet?
Great, Definitely crossing shark off the maybe list. :)
What reason?
And the winner is : SHARK ,finish first,i guess!
Let's be honest, did you really expect anything different out of the shark? 😂😂 That brand seems to be a pile of 💩
Lol no of course not. lol But I don’t like how they claim it will avoid stuff
Well it was entertaining to watch it fail anyway
'nough said.
Who won lol
Basic lidar robot
Yes but claims on the packaging that it has avoidance
