- This is one of those simple things that you can do with polymer clay and you can't stop reaching for more clay because you want to do more! No special tools are necessary. Just scrap clay or at least couple of colors of clay. But if you feel more ambitious, check out this video which shows how I made the cane that I am using today:
• Polymer Clay Pendant -...
Products Used
Sculpey Pearl and Suede, also scrap clay
Amazing clear cast resin
Polyurethane - Gloss
I've seen this bead all over and that it was complex. Thank you for sharing this!
They are not very different to make, right?? Try to use your scraps for it. You will love the outcome! Have a great day!

Once again you have shown how to create something beautiful.

Hello Renate! Hello from California! Thank you so much for watching and chiming in!
Great idea. I have so much scrap.
Joyce, seriously, just grab any scraps and start playing with them. It truly is amazing what they can turn into. Have you watched my swirl heard video from a month or so ago? It is neat when you can incorporate strips of glitter into it.
Will be trying this for sure1 Thank you.
Thank you so much, Marijke! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! Have a beautiful day, my friend!

Beautiful, ir is defently sorry the video. I like it.😃👍
Thank you , Gerlinde!
Love the oval one that you show right after your brushing on varnish. Please tell more in detail what colors and clay used. Thanks for sharing your amazing talent
Hi Maria! I am using Sculpey Pearl and Suede clay. Hope this helps! These colors look really good together! Have a beautiful day!
@@joannascorner4478 suede clay? What brand? Never heard of this shade in sculpey
@@marialicatese9838 Sculpey is the brand and Suede Brown is the color of the clay.
@@joannascorner4478 ok, I’ll have to look for it. Thank you!
I get mine at Michael's!
Those turned out beautiful!! I love the swirl effect and the colors are gorgeous!! I really like the brown one and the rose colored one and I love the way they sparkle with the resin. I've tried this technique once but I wasn't happy with the colors I chose so I think I need to try again but use different colors this time 🙂Big hugs my sweet glitter sister 🙂
Thank you so much, my dear friend! It's a great technique for using ip your scraps
@@joannascorner4478 I definitely have plenty of scraps that need to be used for something 😂😂
Gorgeous pendants, as usual. I do agree that the polyurethane is easier to work with and I make a mess of resin. Hahahah. Btw what did you put on the first finished pendant in the video - resin or wax? Thanks again for sharing yr beautiful and simple techniques 😊
Thank you so much Roz! I so appreciate it! I put gloss polyurethane from Home Depot on the round pendant and resin on the oval ones. Glad you enjoyed the tutorial! Happy New Year, my friend to you and your loved ones!
Do you have your settings set for children? My notification bell won't allow me to get notices from you. The bell has a line through it. Love your videos and don't want to miss any. Much love over the miles!
Hi Judee! I'm so sorry about the bell. I checked with RUclips and they said that everything was set right but who knows. I will poke at it some more. But I don't have it set to children. Thank you so much for being so awesome and watching! Hope you are enjoying your weekend!
How do you get the glittery effect? Is that something in the clay you are using? Sorry - newbie here.
Hi Najla!! Great to have you on my channel. Thank you so much for watching! Yes, the clay is metallic so it shimmers. Also, when you add resin for varnish after you bake the pendant, the resin really makes the metallic pop! It is really fun! Let me know if you have any questions whatsoever. It is a real fun craft and I remember the excitement when I first discovered it myself. Hugs
Some of my best pieces are from scraps
Mine too!! It is when you least expect...
I keep trying to get the swirl but it will not happen for me but I will not give up 😁
No, no, no, don't give up! It will happen! What are you using to do the swirl with? The clear stamp blocks are my favorite because you can see the transformation in front of your eyes. Try not to press too hard on the clay. Let me know how it goes.
@@joannascorner4478 I use the clear stamp blocks...don't worry I won't give up! I will not be beaten lol
It says on mine after clicking the bell, to change it in "your" app settings.
I'm sorry Amy, are you saying that I need to change something on my end?
@@joannascorner4478 Sorry, no. That was meant for your other commentator...lol
Aaaaa, thank you so much, Amy! You are awesome for helping out!
