Well from one of the events (hasn’t happened on the en server) is literally all about Kaoru and Chisato’s childhood and in the 4 stars shows Kaoru looking much softer and feminine wearing dresses so I’m guessing she formed her more extravagant personality in high school or maybe even middle school, but still deep down is the shy sometimes feminine girl she was as a child which I find adorable lol Also if you look at her bio for “favourite food” she’s listed very fancy sounded food dishes when specifically impressing her fans when her real favourite foods are really simple classic dishes It’s kinda sad but also heartwarming seeing Kaoru constantly putting on an act, idk if it’s to get people to like her, for her own protection, or just something she grew to doing once older lol I hope it explains it
