Sorry about the exposure - testing a new vlogging set up. Have you got a grip? What accessories do you use on your cameras?

Couldn't of said it or explained it any better myself Bernie. I've used vertical / power grips for exactly the same purposes going way back to the old film shooting days on my EOS 3. It serves so many purposes, it's why whenever I upgrade I MUST have a battery / vertical / power grip, it's why I skipped the XT5.

Enjoyed this video! I’m leaning strongly towards buying a grip.
How much of a difference in autofocus performance do you notice with boost mode on X-H2s?

Just a big thank you for your video. I bought the grip for my XH2s for wildlife photography after watching your video. I have found it massively improves handling on the 150-600, the 200mm and also 80mm macro. Both the balance and grip are improved. The biggest surprise was the improvement for macro flash photography.
I always thought the grip was for portrait photography or for extra battery power - so I’d never been interested before. I’m delighted you persuaded me otherwise.

Glad I could help! Yeah its a great help isn’t it. I feel it just balances sooo well.
I’m happy you’re enjoying your photography! Enjoy the grip and your incredible set up :)

Thanks for this. How have you found the x-h2 autofocus and subject tracking compared to the 2s, with all the firmware updates?

    • @bernieshore

The XH2s sticks and tracks better but I would be more than happy with the performance of the H2 especially with the higher resolution. Subject tracking is close but the XH2S is just slightly better at everything given the faster readouts of the stacked sensor.

Used to run a grip on the X-T1 back in the day but haven’t really since - mainly because it was so tiny! The L brackets have served me pretty good since really.
    Nice vid!

Yeah, L-brackets are king! I use them 70% of the time. But for Wildlife with longer lenses I've been jiving with the grip recently.
Thanks mate! Been enjoying yours too!

Thanks for the video. I have the X-H2S and the150-600mm and now the 200 f2, LOVE THAT SYSTEM. I will consider the grip. I NOTICED YOUR JACKET AND DID A SEARCH FOR IT AND NOTHING. I'm in Canada. do you have a link to it?

Yeah I'm missing the 200mm F2, such a beast of a lens. The grip has been great, balances nicely. Haha yeah I had a few comments on this. I worked for Fujifilm for 7 years, this was a promo jacket in NZ when I was selling Stabilised Binoculars, not available unfortunately..

I like using the grip too. Anyone know of an aftermarket "L" bracket for the grip? I can't find anything.

Thanks for that, really useful tips and some great photography. Was that the 10-24 f/4 you had on at the start? Just ordered the new version of that for my XH2. Look forward to the next video.

Thanks mate! Yeah it's a great combo this. Love the 10-24mm, yes it was the lens used at the start. Great to hear! thanks for your comments

Fuji is making a mistake by offering only high-end products. Fuji is competing with full-frame cameras and even in the used market.
When I started with Fuji, there were entry-level and mid-range options with features or performance as good or better than Canon/Nikon APS-C, at a lower price and with the ability to use either entry-level or pro lenses.
Today, Fuji has similar prices to competitors and only offers compactness as an additional feature.
I see many photographers now leaving Fuji for Canon/Nikon.
Abandoning the mid-range in terms of camera or lenses is a strategic mistake. Only hype can save Fuji.
