When Nick was talking about his parents reactions when he told them he wanted to be a wrestler. That's exactly my parents reaction to a tee. Now my mom is more supportive but I found that ironic
I think they didn't book him right in TNA when he was the World Heavyweight Champion. They really could have done more with him but that was their mistake, not his.

He had just joined TNA & had a gladiator gimmick from his days in ITV Gladiators. He wrote a column in FSM & I said "nice column Nick", in kayfabe he stood up & said "who?!" The sheer size of a man who would have been around 23 at the time & I was 30 absolutely astounded me. This was all on a TNA UK tour. I went over to USA for 3 Manias & saw Mickie signing & she looked at me & I just backed out, couldn't do it, I was like a schoolboy. So I went & got a photo with Jushin Thunder Liger instead LOL!

The fact Mickie James isn't doing ANYTHING in WWE in the last year and a half and the fact that she is married to the NWA World's Heavyweight Champion is NOT a coincidence. Vince McMahon's irrational hatred for the NWA has spanned decades.
So I’m guessing he was more into older women growing up I like this guy’s choice of Women

I think he made great champ in TNA. Samoa Joe and he made a great tag team too. Glad he is champ again and does well.
