I really appreciate you showcasing my tweet at the end. It really sucks that this is the reality of Club Penguin, but it's time to rip off the bandaid. We still have the ds games and the offline version of CPI. Plus, more original MMOs (which has been inspired by Club Penguin) have been emerging from the shadows. Unfortunately, not many club penguin fans may want to hear this, but this is the end of an era. Goodbye Private Servers.
Maybe trusting a bunch of random teenagers and 20-something year olds to moderate a game that was run by a strictly monitored team of moderators in a large-scale company is not a good idea. Plus, nothing lasts forever, and Club Penguin is a tough lesson in that which some people seem to still be trying to deny. I Miss Club Penguin, but maybe its time to let it go.
I hate to be the buzzkill here, but Disney dosen't really nened to listen to anyone. They are too big to fail, and thats the tragic part about it. No matter how many people ask for them to improve, unless hundreds of millions ask for it, they are gonna keep up the same terrible tactics. Because to disney? All that matters is their bottom line.
club penguin legacy is back and its completely free kinda like Toontown rewritten like the devs don't make a dime out of it I think idk how it would be in the future tho
Maybe you're right, honestly, maybe letting club penguin rest in peace, and being open to party parrot would be the best. I will live out my nostalgia in your videos.
I feel like release of party parrot world will eventually drag players out of cppses, hoping it really comes out soon. I think we as a club penguin community need to be grateful that the former team is working along with few community people to build an awesome project.
@@SagyTity1 true but that’s because it hasn’t been playable for months now, due to it going into beta rocketsnail’s progress is slow, quite like the original club penguin, which took like 5 years to even come out with the beta already been 4 years with box critters, so i’m excited for it’s future. especially since rocketsnail said he is redesigning a lot, making a new island, etc
I tried it in very early beta and honestly I kinda don't trust it, very sketchy tbh. Weird data collection and verification systems are very off putting
i think club penguin has had its time at tthis point. we can try something new, but try to recreate more club penguin isnt going to lead to any satisfying conclusions.
@@wandereringshadow8658 i mean i dont blame them there isnt a game that will ever replace club penguin the fun charchters i dont care about parrot world or whatever it isnt the same
@@hamdanaljumairi3215 I think your looking at it with rose tinted glasses on. Club penguin won't ever be replacable, sure, but you can't hold onto your childhood forever.
So here's my story. I never really played private club penguin servers. All I really do is try to get every ninja suit from Card Jitsu. Ninja mask, fire, water, and snow. I got the ninja mask, and the full fire suit. I was halfway through water and waiting for snow to get released. Unfortunately Club Penguin online was shut down so I probably will never know if it was released or not. Ever since then, I never played again.
It's important to note that Disney is completely ok with Toontown private servers existing. Even the original TT devs support the existence of Toontown Rewritten. My speculation on why Disney seems to prioritize Club Penguin is either 1. They still have plans to use Club Penguin as a property in the future, 2. CP private servers are possibly monetizing via ads or otherwise, 3. Disney doesn't another CPO or CPR situation. Private servers are not inherently bad or worthy of being shut down, it needs more time and better planning. On another note, it's sad to see the TT community make the same mistake of swearing allegiance to one server and wanting more updates and content to come out faster from them when they are incredibly lucky to have TT still in a playable form in first place.
The difference with Toontown Rewritten is that the devs pay for the servers completely out of pocket- They won't accept donations at all, unlike a lot of Club Penguin private servers. I do think the CPO situation was a major factor though. Back when that happened, Disney struck down nearly every CPPS, whether they were popular, monetized, or neither. I'm guessing they just don't want a repeat of that fiasco associated with their brand, and as such are a bit harsher on Club Penguin. Which is honestly fair, I just wish things were different :[
toontown communtiy is really spoiled honestly. Most private servers of shut down kids games are either copyrighted or the original company asks them to only put them on github. itd be sad if disney decides to go after ttr for whatever reason even though i dont care for TT anymore.
the idea of kids who have never played real club penguin took me out...

The fact that the game still has such a big community really shows how much Disney messed up
Disney needs to listen to their communities

I am excited for Party Parrot but I'm worried it'll try too hard to replace Club Penguin. I hope it's able to form its own identity
Though party parrot world is still very different, it’s more similar to club penguin island if anything, so I doubt it can replace cppses.

Its like people keep reanimating Club Penguins corpse but each time they do it the corpse is more decayed and malformed. Its time to just let it rest.
