You didn’t include The Killing Road??!!? That solo is such a sleeper, and it’s amazing!! Glad to see Poison Was The Cure….I think that one doesn’t get enough attention, and my all time favorite, Lucretia. Of course I love Tornado, but that’s such an obvious choice…and I personally think Lucretia is better. I’m a MegaMarty snob….lol

Top 10 best Megadeth non-Mustaine Solos. I think My Last Words and Into the Lungs of Hell are two of Megadeth's best solos and they are by Mustaine.

hangar 18? my last words? holy wars?
hey dude I love your channel and I know this video is 4 years old.... but I wanted to point out... Friedmans magick is not only the notes ... but the lil nuances of how he hits them, your not emulating em (really important so this is absorbed into your style) Ill give you just 1 example... 5:16 go and listen to the original track and pay close attention to how he arrives at the note and bend it with just the rigth amount of tension and finesse... the way he hits that bend its pure drama and passion... and of course he does this kind of things thru all of his solos... this is the soul of the solo and the most important thing.... Glenn Drover knew this and did it.. and at least I found his rendition of Martys solos a lot more appealing because he was trying to replicate the passion altho he didnt play those solos note for note.
just one more... the solo in symphony ... the lil detail in the crazy miB5 arps.. how he slides thru each position .. Becker did this too... it sounds elegant and non mechanic

I mean technically you're good but many of these covers are not correct as the record lol having speed and good technique doesn't always mean good ears
the guy studied jazz guitar I'm sure he has good ear. And marty didn't play these solos exactly the same everytime live as well.
That's what I'm saying. He's too good of a guitarist to play the first 12 bars note-for-note and then just slap some shreddy run at the end and call it good. That's not what Marty did, even live (Marty, Dave, and Chris P. usually always played pretty damn close to the recording), and it's not what true fans want to see in a top ten solos of all time video.
In addition, where's Holy Wars? Hangar 18? Skin 'o' My Teeth? Where's Dave? It's all Chris Broderick stuff that, for the most part, all sounds the same.
