A bit of information about Steve Vai. He started as guitar player for Frank Zappa who was a very unique musician himself. He's got a 30mn song Billy the mountain that tells the story of a mountain going from LA to Las Vegas. Then became the guitar player for the David Lee Roth band after he left Van Halen. Then recorded 1 album with Whitesnake and then released his Grammy winning solo record Passion and warfare. Eveeyone had that album and I mean people that never listened to instrumental guitar music before were buying it. Steve is the king of "weird music" and has been a huge influence on guitar playing and guitar equipment. He basically made Ibanez guitars the superpower it is today.
Probably one of my favorite Polyphia reaction tbh. Seem like you're not in your element yet you're actually paying attention to all the details. Good job
Great reaction! You really felt and experienced the greatness and artistry of the piece. Next I suggest Playing God and Chimera guitar playthrough. and my favorite of their older work- Aviator.
At each point during the three leads' separate features they've all sat in that chair. Hard to notice 'cause A) Tim, and B) Scott Lepage is a bigger guy. The skyline in the third movement (Steve's feature) is Los Angeles. The ending gets me every time; sounds like a soulful tune played in a nightclub, and the whole song's based around it.
That was guitar legend Steve Vai at the end. This song kind of tells the story of the contrast and union between the old and the new of guitar playing.
you've got to watch STEVE VAI INCREDIBLE GUITAR PERFORMANCE HD video , from the crossroads guitar festival, with some unusual guitar playing in the middle section of the tune. with one of the all time greatest bass players BILLY SHEEHAN, Steve Vai was voted one of the top 10 greatest guitar players of all time. best wishes from the north east coast of England.
😁 there's a whole world of instrumental music that's out there! Your reactions awesome. If you have time try out Snarky Puppy, Ichika, Marcin just to get started 😅. Would be cool to see your take on them!
Hey omim! Liked and subbed! I know you’re a rapper so you should check out they’re songs “playing god” and “GOAT” if you want to hear the combining of hip hop 808 sounding bass guitar and more “your style” beats combined with their unique instrumental sound. You’ll love them. Cheers!
"Who is that? I'm sorry if I don't know who that is, it looks like you should know who that is..." Literally in the title of the video it says feat Steve Vai. So yes you definitely should have known who that is....
Great video but brooo you have to listen to steve vai " tender surrender, and for the love of god" by steve vai! And make it a video, thanks from france

I absolutely LOVE that the community is still making and watching reaction videos to this song months after the song has been out. It's a masterpiece.

Thank you so much!
the man on the throne is Steve Vai. One of the greatest guitarists in the world. If you want to check him out, may I suggest 'Teeth of the Hydra'
No, no....Whispering A Prayer, Tender Surrender, For The Love Of God.
And for crazy sake "Candle Power".
Everybody misses that they each take turns on the Throne. But Vai gets it on the roof top of course.

They all had a turn on the throne. We'll, except the drummer, who has his own throne.

Steve Vai...Gitarrengott
Feel sad when people says "whos that" unfamiliar with one of the most legendary guitar player on earth, Steve fucking Vai
tbh what did you expect clicking on a "first time" video
@@OMIMreacts again, "unfamiliar" get it? meaning never heard before. Can be first time to actually listen but been hearing the name before. 🙄
