Hi Will! It does look like a very useful app. Did you know that to access the free 5 day trial, you have to give your credit card and sign up for a $49/month or $59/month subscription, which you can’t cancel unless you manage to cancel in exactly the 24 hour period before the free trial ends? It is kinda unclear when that actually is, but I guess I will just set an alarm on my phone for 4 days from now and then go to the app on the hour for a couple of days until it gives me access to the cancel subscription feature. Not user friendly. Maybe I just haven’t tried enough apps. But thanks for your review. It was a good description of the feature.
shoot, wished i read this before buying!! - no audio with rode mic attached. unless some one has a solution? will cancel my subscription too

İt doesnt work horizontally on my iphone
You have no idea how much this video helped me!!!! I´ve been strugling so much with technology, scared to download apps and this video was key. Not only did I down load it, tried it successfully but also came to realize that if you have tried a hundred or more apps, then I was not wrong in testing and researching. I know its part of the process but boy it can be so frustrating at times. Its funny how I know my technology learning curve is going to take time but still I want immediate results ans success. Hi Will. I'm just beginning to learn about filming technology, am a permanent traveller who wants to enrich their content on the social networks. This app you show us seems to be really useful and the key for most of the issues. However I'd like to ask you about the eye position, that is my current issue for now. I made some tests with the app and unfortunately it seems to be the same as the other ones: when you read the script, your eyes are not looking directly to the native camera. Could you please help me? Thank you for the excellent video.
OK, Still no ability to scroll the script up or down, pause or restart when on video mode
glitching as hell, If u try to resize or rescale the prompter on video it stops scrolling !!! and there is no way to restart scroll let alone scroll up or down without exiting the video. then u must open the promter app and adjust thereAlso iphone heats up very hot and fast when trying to use this
Same experience here. I'll refund the app. Good thinking but terrible implementation.
I have my scripts already written. Is there any way to cut and paste them? I hate typing it over agian.

Great video. Can’t say same about the app. It says it’s free. Then wants to charge for $15 (red flag). But if you accidentally make an error entering your info or hit a wrong button because it doesn’t seem to be mobile friendly (red flag), it won’t allow you to use that email anymore (red flag). I find it hard to believe the app is user friendly when just trying to use it initially is so convoluted. i’ll pass

Thank you so much, Will! I was searching for using the cinematic option! But an FYI: it's not free--only for 3 days as a trial(I think that offer varies ), then you have to pay for it. Be careful!
Looks great on your screen, but does not work on my iPhone 15, as soon as I leave the app to go to the camera to use Cinematic, the prompt window returns to portrait mode and when I go back to the teleprompter app it switches horizontally again. I leave, portrait, go back horizontal??? ANY HELP WOULD BE SUPER APPRECIATED.
Never mind! When I switched the view from the back camera to the screen camera, it worked!
This is still a problem for me. It will not switch to horizontal, even on the screen camera. Any advice from you or @itswilldraper ? I wonder if I have to have a paid version. I even watch the ad to make it available, but it still will not switch to horizontal. It SHOWS it does in the app when I hit the button, but once I move to my camera, it flips back to vertical. help!
My final video, looks like My eyes looks like down. How do you correct this? I tried font adjustment and the speed too. Any tips? This is for short videos

Doest it works if I use Apple Pages and use any Acessibility tools, I mean create another window in screen? Would be Perfect because Pages has also auto scrolling text as Presenter Mode....

Hi Will, thanks so much. Does this app enable you to import a script from a WORD doc in which I have already typed & formatted my script. I'd like what you have shown me, but I want to import my already typed notes? Does this app facilitate that? Thanks Lisa
Yes, you can copy/paste. I typically write all my scripts in OneNote, copy them from my phone app and paste directly into the telprompter app. Pretty seamless.

This is NOT FREE!! I just paid for this and just found there is no sound when I my rode mic attached to my iPhone 14 pro with this teleprompter? I love the cinematic mode feature. But useless without audio??!! Will have to cancel subscription it cannot find solution.
Yeah, they started charging for it, which is a bummer. That's weird with your audio though, I haven't run into that problem. Did you figure it out?

The lack of opacity control/ transparent background is annoying. You can't see enough of yourself.
