    I am in the process of researching these cnc machines before I make the jump to buying one. I am looking to start with wood and possibly work towards harder materials such as soft metals. I enjoy your videos and I thank you for sharing your experiences. I do worry about using the software as my computer skills aren't the best.

      I can only recommend Avid Benchtop PRO 2424 2' x 2' or 2436 2' x 3' CNC Machine. CNC Machines out of China “DO NOT” meet US and EU standards

      Does it speak G code well? I would guess you should be prepared to do your own solo repair and support?

    Would this be suffice for engraving into slate? Just lettering and designs, not interested in cutting. Would 2.2kw be enough?

      Hi, you would need a 6060 rigid gantery for that

      No, I didn't and this is a GOOD 6040 CNC router
