  • Life in a Kenyan village series: This is part of a little "mini-series" of videos highlighting what life is like in a more rural village in Kenya. Pam, one of my good friends here in Kenya, opens up her home for us to get a look on different aspects of village life.
Today, we're visiting her home and enjoying the natural beauty of village life! She gives us a tour of her property and shows us her church.

when you say NO power you make it seem like only urban areas have electric connectivity which is misleading. Kenya has 85 percent of electricity connectivity one of the highest in Africa and the government is in the last mile of connection which means it will drive electric connectivity to 100 percentage in one years time pow for all whether they can afford it or not most villages have power except pockets of them.

Oh good point! I didn't know the stats of the connectivity in the country. Thanks for the information.

Honestly speaking, there is connectivity, but the blackouts in western Kenya especially are insane. Any time there is even the slightest sign of rain the electricity goes away and can take even 24 hours or more before it returns
