    very good - ive noticed that some people dont seem to like the fact that Alesssandro makes melodic atmospherics with a buchla and a synthi, just because it doesnt align with what you think these instruments should be used for doesnt mean its not good or he is not talented! I actually think the gear on show is doing the performer a disservice because people seem to be focused on all the nobs and buttons rather than just listening to what is being produced (which is beautiful by the way) Fair enough if you dont like it but just because it sounds simplistic doesnt mean that its easy - he is more about tones, drones and progressions than bleeps and squeaks and madness.

      does not mind what simple people think, allesandro is a touched by gods with talent, that´s why he is so rich (not maybe with money as much as Sorros or Eleon Musk but his life is a dream for the most of us)

      If you can only do what everyone else does with gear then whats even the point of them making more than one of each lmao that perspective makes no sense especially when it comes to modular

    • @ezzong
      @ezzong 3 года назад +1

      The criticism for Alessandro for not being a technical guy who understands every nook and cranny of modular synths might be right to an extend, but often sounds just like a saying of no life purists that doesn't like that he's popular and charismatic. For me though, it all comes down to his simplistic and melodic approach that has proven to interests and influences many newcomers including me to the world of modular. So sad that gatekeeping behaviors will always exists in every kind of music, especially one as niche and complex as modular synthesizers.

      @@ezzong Sometimes I think people just mad because he earned the respect, place in band, and even song credits from trent reznor, meanwhile trent reznor has never even heard their shitty solo bedroom noodling.

    This guy is just ok, ive heard waaay better guys preform on that same system on matrixsynth. I kind of agree with the, "is that all guy". An electron a4 could do that and more. Throw in an octa track and then your cookin. Buchlas are my favorite modulars though, I love them.

  • @1vootman
    @1vootman 10 лет назад

    It's a nice, beautiful, simple melody that was well played?. Though, Modular stuff is not that great for live performance stuff, it's way better for studio work. Electron gear and a MPC 2500, maybe a spectrallis 2 hooked all together...that's a show. Example: Autechre, enough said. I know this dude plays with nine inch nails...I'm not a big fan of theirs.

      this is in an area of interest involving synthesis and modular enthusiasts. there are different ways to compose music and methods of performance. it doesn't have anything to do with drugs. get an education and you'll get it.
