just watched this twice in a row. There are some outboard effects, a little delay, a little reverb, but otherwise it's all Easel. And a phenomenal performer. Thanks for recording this, +qu0ne
wonderful sounds from the music easel. its beautiful track yet can't help thinking that, melodically and compositionally its somewhat predictable. there must be hundreds of shoegaze songs with the same melody and progression in last 25 years. the same mantric repetition of 16th notes, with changing bass over a repeated melody cell up high, run into a smorgasboard of delay and shimmer reverb. an old recipe with different sounds. browsing thru other Cortini videos, he seems to be doing a variation on this quite often. its all very nice, but not earthshakingly original either. perhaps when you mix pop harmony , as he is, with modular, you can only go so far.
Since I didn't see it anywhere in the comments, the title of this track is "Scappa" and is on the album Forse 3. Wonderful video. Thank you.
I NEED to see him live! His work is mental diary for me and I couldn't thank him enough
+bradfeige he's playing LA this weekend i believe.
i have no idea how i held my phone up for so long.

12 years later, I am appreciative that you did so. Thanks :)
This is fantastic, and remarkably steady! :D Thank you!
This is my favorite Cortini era and performances

Anybody know if this is just the Music Easel he's playing? Hard to see from the video. Sounds great though.
+James Duffett-Smith believe it was all easel.
+qu0ne looks that way, doesn't it. Makes me want one very much...
+qu0ne plus a delay pedal - but wow, such a great performance.
Well Done!

Nice Easel, Alessandro! You lucky and hard-workin' sod!
4:07 that mistake is smooth
This type of organic mistake makes it into his albums as well. I love it.

Post a link to something you've created that is earthshakingly original so we'll have a model.
There is nothing in the world more overrated than originality.
He definitely has a formula. Pretty good one, though.
Thsts the problem with these sequencing devices they all run
Yeah, but 6 min in and I still get goose bumps every time he sweeps another knob and it changes just a little
