  • How to Install a Volkswagen Dip Stick Adaptor - DIY - VW Bug Beetle Ghia Thing Bus
I installed the adaptor on this engine to install it in a type 1. Originally this engine is a type 3 engine case.
Thank you for watching. I hope your VW is working good.
Let me know what I can help you with.
    Have a great day!

My case has this blocked off. I've been thinking about adding this to add the oil temperature stick and still have the original oil stick.

You check the oil while the engine is running?

hello, I guess you could check the oil when the engine is running. however the reading wouldn't be accurate. The best situation to check the oil is on a flat ground and first thing when the engine is cold. I hope that answers the question. have a great day!!

Ok thanks I did the same thing to my vw motor but It didn't have a hole for the oil preasure switch it was mounted on the oil cooler. Eventually I'll split the case and drill the hole,. I enjoy your videos thanks
