I'll like to advise for something .... add some pieces of metallic seats at your fire place and with that you maximize the heat inside to your survival home and the same time you shall have and economy to the woods....

Xem từ Việt Nam. Chào Dawid! Vô tình xem được kênh của bạn ( đã xem được 2 video) và đăng kí ngay. Cả hai video đều rất tuyệt vời cùng chủ đề: Xây dựng nơi trú ẩn trên núi, dưới hang đá vào mùa đông. Cũng đã xem rất nhiều video ở nhiều kênh khác về tự tạo cabin, nơi trú ẩn vào mùa đông nhưng riêng về video của bạn thì mình thấy đây là một người đàn ông khéo léo nhất, thông minh nhất, có thể làm bất cứ việc gì cũng đều xuất sắc cả. Trong hang mà bạn tạo được một chiếc bếp lò cực kì khéo léo, gọn gàng, ấm cúng,ko bị khói bay ra ngoài; rồi cả một chiếc giường ngủ cũng rất êm ái và ấm cúng... Tóm lại, việc gì bạn làm cũng đều trên cả tuyệt vời! Mong bạn có thật nhiều trải nghiệm để giới thiệu và chia sẻ cho mọi người cùng biết nhé! Yêu bạn!❤❤❤!

Yes he did build a door. A crude one that if blocked from swinging inward would keep large animals out. Maybe not snakes & mice etc. It's also halfway up the side of a steep cliff mitigating the threat of larger animals in the first place.

Great project. So many details and a lot of work. One thing I would do is to add height to your chimney. It should be above the surrounding area. It will draw better and no have water or snow coming in.
What i would call stage two …..improvements to a shelter
Realistically this would be closer to stage 3-5…. In a survival situation he would have, should have built an improvised shelter that took a few hours and could provide shelter for a week while he is building this second more long term shelter

Contrary to popular belief bears rarely den up in caves , and they almost never “claim” a resting place…. Bears tend to seek out an empty place

Only thing should be aware of, building under rocks, overhangs...Water has what called "Surface Tension" and will follow the surface of an object, even horizontally, at times...clinging, until finally dripping off..you could be a meter under and still get wet. just something to be aware of

After watching rockslides bringing house-size boulders down on unsuspecting drivers I couldn't help but wonder how our intrepid woodsman was going to keep that mega-ton "roof" from crushing him in his sleep.
His solution was excellent!! I'm impressed by his creativity -- good work, sir! And after all that hammering, dragging and stacking he must have slept like the dead inside what became a cozy shelter against the elements.

Холодно спать, каменный погреб множество дыр, тепло все улетает в трубу, жилище надо делать чтобы не было сквозняков печь каменая дожна быть в нутри она держит тепло натопить с вечера и все ночь тепло, а так все время каждые 2 часа надо прсыпаться и подбрасывать дров, а бывает и по новому растапливать если прозеваешь, желаю
